Good quality. Excellent value.
I looked for a low-cost easel to display anctable plan for a wedding and found this one. Reviews were mixed but generally good. I’m pleased to say that the good reviews were right. The parts are well made (and all there). The instructions are simple diagrams and easy enough to follow. Took me about 10 mins to build with the aid of just one Phillips screw-driver. Overall, a very happy customer.

Good value for money
At the price it is an excellent purchase for a beginner to use for painting. The quality is good and better than expected for a beginner who may not know how long they might paint for.

It's far sturdier than it looks
It was a little puzzle to put together but ultimately it was easy and beautifully constructed. I love this easel. Lightweight and nicely finished it a bargain in my view. Very impressed. For those worried about the back support slipping, just fit a small Chain or rope. Really, it isn't an issue I have so far needed to address but was mentioned in another review. I'm very pleased with this and have no problems recommending it. Happy painting or displaying.

The worst instructions for assembly
You get this tiny little piece of paper which isn't correctly labelled to tell you which pieces of wood go together. I'm generally quite handy, but I can't make out what's what on these instructions to know what pieces fit together. The wood is numbered below like an itinerary but then doesn't relate to the images. The screws are labelled with letters but also aren't drastically clear. The paper has a QR code to 'a video instruction' which leads to some Chinese video hosting website. I think the wood of the easel looks sturdy, but I don't think we'll know if it's any good if I can't assemble the damned thing. It's going to turn into a whole project in itself. Update: took me an hour and a half to put together after trying to work out what the heck is what. Seems relatively sturdy, though the hold where the canvas sits seems a bit wobbly. It felt like I was going to split the wood when screwing it in in several places. Best of luck if you bought it. Take note of the almost invisible differences in wood printings on the instructions. Probably get what you pay for.

Absolutely delighted
I am absolutely delighted with my easel, it is very good for the price, it does exactly what it should. I am not a person that builds things! but I sat calmly and took my time looking at the instruction pictures and hey it was actually VERY straight forward. It's light in weight but perfectly sturdy in my opinion, I love it. I would highly recommend this product.

Fairly easy to assemble but 5 screws unaccounted for!
Bought for my daughter who is taking GCSE Art and wanted a painting easel and she seems happy with it. I was a bit worried about the assemble after reading some of the reviews on here but I found it fairly straightforward although I had to get my reading glasses to see the detail in the tiny pictures. Only thing is, I was left with 4 of the screws marked E, none of which I used, nor can I see anywhere in the instructions where I missed them out. Easel seems to be functional without them anyway. Also, I could only find a way to use 2 of the smallest screws although they supply and show 3 in the assembly diagram. So the instructions are a bit confusing but it seems to go together ok.
