Huawei Nexus 6P Case, Centra Snap Case for Huawei Nexus 6P [1.2mm Slim Fit] [Lightweight] [Durable]- Retail Packaging - Gray

I hate phone cases. I hate covering up my beautiful phone with a big & bulky case. So I am always looking for the slimmest case possible that protects the phone from minor bumps and scratches. I have purchased many cases over the year looking that perfect case for my Nexus 6P. - J&D TPU Rubber - terrible case. Just piece of plastic that makes the phone away too slippery - PLESON Nexus 6P Case Cover - turned yellowish after 2 weeks - Spigen Thin Fit - very slim case but the top and bottom was exposed. Bottom corner is sharp and hurts your pinky. Bottom corner cracked over time. - Spigen Rugged Armor - most protection but also bulky. I have used this the longest because it's a great case but I constantly take the case off to remember what my phone looks like. I've had the Centra case for only 3 days so this is not going to be a thorough review but I am ready in love with this case. It's exactly what I was looking for: protects all four sides while being very slim. I like the texture of the case which provides significantly better grip. The case so slim and fits so perfectly that you forget that there is case on the phone. Now let's just hope it holds up over time. I will back to update this review if things changes.

I ordered the "Mint" version of this case along with several other cases (including the official 6p case sold by Google) shortly after buying my 6p. This one is by far my favorite. The color looks great and should work well with any color variant of the 6p. The texture is nice and adds quite a bit of grip to the phone. The 6p is a beautiful device, and I hate to cover it up, but it is just too dang slippery to leave naked. I was looking for something slim and minimal and this case fit the bill. The texture is slightly rubbery which helps grip the phone better. There isn't much lip on the front of the phone and I doubt it would help protect at all if the phone is dropped... but that wasn't necessarily what I was looking for in a case. I only wanted to find something to help ensure I wouldn't drop the phone to begin with. If you're looking for a great looking case with some nice added texture to prevent against drops and scratches this may be for you. If you're looking for shock absorption then you way want to look elsewhere. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and would buy again.

I had purchased a different brand with a slightly different design but very similar finish which was great accept it ended up cracking after a few weeks. To their credit the other manufacturer replaced it quickly but unfortunately that one cracked as well. Fortunately I found this one and it is almost perfect! While it seems a bit more flexible anyway, the design includes small gaps at all four corners which ensure the case doesn't crack over time. The slightly grippy texture is perfect and the case looks fantastic. It is very slim, so if you're looking for anything but scratch and minimal shock protection this case is not the one. If, like me, you WANT minimal then this is your case. I do have one tiny complaint. I which the case would not completely surround the buttons and instead just have a single cutout for both buttons. With this design the buttons are recessed within the opening and more difficult to press. While looking nice it is a bit less practical. I have gotten used to the buttons feeling different and so it is no longer a real annoyance and therefore I didn't deduct any stars from what is otherwise perfection for my needs.

From the seller's description in one of the answered questions, I was expecting the "sandstone" texture to be similar to the texture on my previous phone, the OnePlus One in sandstone black. Unfortunately the texture isn't quite as grippy. It feels more of an intermediate between the OnePlus One and a typical soft touch finish. That being said, this case does provide some much needed grip to an otherwise very slippery phone. For reference, I purchased the black variant of the case. It's possible that the grey one has more of the texture I was looking for. Aside from that minor complaint, the case is pretty good. It seems to provide decent protection and doesn't add much bulk to the phone.

When I first received this case, I loved it. It was slim, seemed to offer decent protection, had a great texture to it and an even better appearance. However, after a very short period of time using it, the surface of the case has begun to deteriorate. Attempted to contact seller for an exchange or replacement, but was told they "Unfortunately, we do not carry those products. Please contact the seller for replacement information." Disappointing.

This is one of my favorite cases I've had on any phone. And I've had a lot. I have had a Bear Motion sandstone type case in the past. This has the same feel but covers all 4 sides. This may be the slimmest case I've ever used as well. The feel is perfect and adds a ton of grip to the device. If you are looking for a case with a lot of drop protection this is not it. It is thin and rigid. It also does not provide much protection if you like to lay your phone face down. I have a glass screen protector on my phone and I feel like the edges of the case are exactly flush with the screen protector. If you don't have a protector, it may provide a fraction of a millimeter of a lip. I just wanted a case that provided more grip and protection from scratches and scuffs. I rarely drop my phone *knock on wood*. My only minor complaint is that it doesn't seem even when the phone is laying flat on a table. If I type while the phone is laying on a table, it does wobble ever so slightly. But this is a very minor annoyance and doesn't justify a full star deduction on the review. This is a great case overall. I will update if I run into any issues with durability.
