Got this for its beauty and strength, to hold my kids heavy backpacks without breaking my wall or the hooks. So far, so good! Seems very sturdy. Details below.PRICE:I didn't get this at first due to the price point. I am fairly handy and cringed at the thought, knowing I could find some wood and add hooks myself, screw it into some studs and voila. But I was short on time, and hooks are also fairly expensive right now if you can't easily walk into a hardware store in person. So overall, it ended up being worth it.QUALITY:I got a different brand with a long row of 8-10 hooks for much cheaper, but I was super disappointed to discover this other item folded in half on a hinge and was really just two short boards next to each other. I needed something very sturdy, to attach to two or more studs and use its full length for added support to hold my kids' heavy backpacks. So I got this one instead.This one is very quality.*It looks nice with the etched pattern.*The version I got also has a very long wood panel in a single piece.*The hooks are thick and seem strong.INSTALLATION:*The attachment sites are nicely spaced. I planned on drilling through the wood panel to line it up with my wall's studs, but I didn't have to, because the keyhole hook plates on the back are spaced to match the standard stud spacing in most US homes (! - which is 16" apart, so the holes were something like 17" apart). I was installing in a slightly weird space - stud spacing can get wonky as you near wall intersections - but I was able to get two of the three pre-made anchor points into studs without drilling new holes in the item. I used the provided drywall anchor for the third attachment site.The only drawbacks are the hardware. It would've been better if they provided long wood screws for the option of attaching to studs. Furthermore, for drywall mounting, the provided drywall anchors were a little too big for the provided screw, which I found odd (I used the narrow anchor they provided to minimize wall descrution - they also provide the huge 'self-drilling' kind, and maybe that kind would've worked better with the provided screw?). So that one anchor point of mine is a tad loose. Thankfully the item sits very secure with the other two.And just to clarify, it uses the keyhole method for install (meaning, you screw in your screws the correct distance apart from each other to match the keyhole sites on the back of the wood board, then you hang the item on the screws). The keyhole slots that sit on the screws are nicely recessed, so you can get a very flush mount if you take the time to adjust your screw depths / how far your screws stick out from the wall.They don't provide a template for knowing where to drill/screw it in, but I simply drew a line with pencil from the center of the keyholes all the way to the top of the wood, then used the item itself as the template. (Be sure it's level or matches your needs before drilling your holes.) This worked perfectly, no issues with alignment.Overall, we're loving it and I wish I'd thought of this years ago! (Will update if it breaks.)

The coat rack was perfect for the minimalist country home. It was easy to mount and is very sturdy. Loved the rustic appeal.

I gave 1 to my son and I kept one. These are nice for the price. I bought them on sale so, that helped.. sturdy and I actually used longer screws than what they sent. Easy to install. Quick shipping!

It is nicely designed. However, it doesn't look really sturdy because of its material.

I like that the coat rack is sturdy, sleek looking, and that it has hooks that will hold coats or bags. The price was reasonable and it is attractive looking and subtle. The hooks are far enough apart that it will work for light weight coats as well as winter coats. Perfect for my needs by the back door.

Looks nice, not fancy. Functional and sturdy enough for jackets. They come two to a pack and are easy to hang with hand tools.

I had been looking for a coat rack that I could hang on the wall but, specifically, one that I could mount into the wall studs for strength, so I needed it to be at least 16" long, which this one was, so that part was great. Plus, from the pictures online, I liked the look of it. It was simple, and pretty. But, I'm really not all that happy with the quality of this item. This is actually the second one I received. I sent the first one back for a replacement. The reason why I sent it back? As I wrote in the explanation for the return... "The wood this item is made from needs to be spackled, sanded, and painted, and I really don't have the patience to do all that!" When the second one arrived, I noticed that it is basically the same way. The dents and defects in the wood are 'not quite as bad' so it doesn't really need spackling, but it certainly could use sanding and another coat of paint. Apparently, the manufacturer is only concerned with cutting it, giving it one quick coat of paint, and assembling it... and they don't believe in sanding the rough spots on the wood first, or even giving it enough paint to cover the wood completely. So, the end result is very poor. I'm not sending this one back, I'm going to keep it since it is the size that I wanted and it's 'not quite as awful' as the first, but I haven't yet decided if I want to just hang it up the way it looks, or sand it and paint it first. And, since I still need to decide what to do about all that, I can't comment on whether or not installation was easy. All in all, considering the condition these seem to consistently arrive in, I don't think it's worth the money.Update: I decided to send the replacement back as well. If I don't, and I just hang it up the way it looks, every single time I look at it, I know it's going to bother me that the manufacturer sent me such an inferior-quality item. And I really don't think that the customer should have to disassemble, sand, and paint an item... just to have it look nice! I honestly don't have the patience to do all that. So, it's going back. And I won't be attempting to buy another! I'm giving up on this product.

The media could not be loaded. These hooks are great. Sturdy and hip looking, compared to other hooks that are pretty basic and look like what was probably at Laura Ingall’s one room school house on the prairie. Highly recommend!
