Love these
This is my third pair of these mittens - I absolutely love them. I hate wearing gloves. It makes it hard to get my metrocard out of my wallet or use my phone while I'm on the subway (yes, I could take them off to do these things, but that gets annoying when you're carrying a lot, and smartphone gloves are still gloves, so I still don't like wearing them). BUT, I have Raynauds, so my hands are always freezing, even when NYC isn't in the middle of a polar vortex. These are perfect. Super warm, surprisingly cute (I get compliments on them all the time), and I can't recommend them enough. They're pretty rugged too, but I spill coffee on them all the time so they usually look pretty grungy after a few seasons and I buy a new pair. One note - there's a little velcro square to hold the flap open and I find it pretty ugly so I always pull the stitches out and remove it. It's very simple, and once it's off you'll never know it was there.

Poor quality
I ordered a pair of these gloves/mittens, got them, and put them on. They seemed like good quality like they’d keep my hands warm. Within the first 20 minutes the “flap” came off. I returned them and bought a bigger size, thinking maybe it was just the fact that they were too tight. SAME thing happened - only this time within the first 10 minutes of wear. Not even worth the hassle of returning - just going to cut my losses. :(

Deceptive marketing on Thinsulate and fleece lining
I like these gloves. For what I paid they're quite nice - even at the regular price I don't feel like they're a bad deal. However, calling these "Thinsulate" and "fleece lined" is deceptive. The glove body itself is not lined with anything. Only the mitten cap that goes over your fingers has a lining. See my pictures of the inside out glove and cap. I can appreciate an unlined wool glove. And thus it receives 3 stars from me for being a decent glove. It loses 2 stars for the deception.Another thing to note is that the fingers are not separated like they are on some other fingerless gloves. The fingers are isolated by stitching but it's not separate sleeves of wool for your fingers.

The XL is very large.
These are nice and warm, and have a stylish design. The leather grip patch is useful for picking things up or driving to keep from slipping. They are a good price. I shopped around for this kind of glove, a glommit, I guess they are called, and these were the best deal.Unless you have very large hands, you will likely want the large, not XL. Usually my husband wears an XL in gloves, but these are very large, and the XL were too big, much bigger than your typical XL in gloves. Even the large is still a bit large in that the finger holes are thick and restrict some movement.

High quality with surprising wind resistance.
The Large size was great for my hand which is approximately 9 inches between thumbnail and pinky fingernail when fingers are extended. There are also about 8.5 inches between my wrist and the tip of my middle finger. They provide fairly good wind resistance and kept my fingers warm in 22 °F temps today. Moreover, the velcro patches seem to be secured to the mitt more securely than in other glomitts I've owned previously. Would recommend for the price.

False advertising = unusable
I was very excited to order these gloves for walking my dog this winter. I am allergic to wool but the product description advertises that the gloves have: a "fleece interior for softness and warmth" and a "3M Thinsulate liner for insulation against the cold" making them perfect for me; I'd get the warmth of the wool without it touching my skin so no itching and/or rashes. Unfortunately the fleece and lining is only in the mitten top of the gloves. This means the only portion not wool is the very tip of the fingers when the mittens are closed. For sizing I have a 7.5" palm circumference and ordered the Medium gloves (Medium men's gloves are usually for 8" palms). So they are slightly too big, but the small would have been too tight. The fact that they're a little large means I'm going to try and find some other thin non-wool glomitts (or liners I can cut the fingertips off of) that I can wear inside them so that I don't have to return them. Overall I'm very disappointed due to their false description. If you can wear wool, then these are actually nice gloves. The leather pads on the palm and mitten top are very nice. However, I don't like the use of a Velcro patch to keep the mittens open. It snags on my scarf when they're closed and looks bad (a toggle or button would have been better). Also the inside of the thumbs is a little weird: its leather and has an extended leather flap that hangs down over the thumb slit, it just looks strange and not very effective (maybe you're supposed to tuck the leather flap into the slit?)These would be really great gloves if the thinsulate and fleece liners had been carried throughout.

Best glove ever!!!
When I saw these I had to get them. I bought a pair locally years ago I'm still wearing them and the store is long gone. These seem made as well and warm and work great roughing out a house till I get the heat wired.

DON'T BUY!!! Worst quality wool available, shoddy product, can't even return it
Not only are they too large, but this is the worst quality wool, they're made in China, not the US, AND there is no fleece lining to protect you from the sh*t quality wool.. They're scratchy (not itchy, but scratchy), they stretch easily, the leather is cheap and there is no lining. I wouldn't know if they keep my hands warm because they they're so incredibly uncomfortable. I own lots of wool and alpaca. Never have I had a problem with itching. But, I've also never work woven tree bark marketed as wool. Don't buy these. It's a mistake you'll soon regret. Especially because I can't even return the pieces of shi...! I'm really disappointed in the quality of this prosecutor and the sellers lack of integrity. It's getting to the point where looking at these crappy things makes me upset. Avoid all of Fox River products, but avoid these in particular.
