Great coffee maker, my last percolator fell apart after 6-7 months, this is built well for heavy use, I love my lifer juice.

Very fast and makes great coffee

This coffee maker isn’t just for coffee—it’s a hot chocolate champ too! It brews rich, bold coffee and flawlessly handles hot cocoa. Just don’t forget to put the top on (lesson learned). Easy to use, easy to clean, and totally versatile—I love it!

This thing works very quickly, it does a cup per minute, so if you are looking at doing a full load, you are looking at a good 45 minutes.The only thing I would caution you about is the grounds container: it is black plastic and that plastic is very soft and pliable when it is hot. Grab it with both hands to remove it, one on each side, or it will collapse and make a huge mess and run your coffee!

This is an excellent coffee pot. Appearances terrific, handles are quite usable. The brew basket is small enough that I can even use regular Mr Coffee coffee filters, just cut a hole in the bottom. The brewing is exceptionally fast, although I would like it to be a few degrees cooler. It would be better with an adjustable heating element. My last stainless steel coffee pot (different brand) died because the heat was turned up so much it burned out the unit. This one's a couple degrees cooler than that one, but we could stand a variable control.

I purchased this for a hot cocoa party for my class. The specifications stated that it heats up quickly but didn’t say specifically how quickly. I plugged it in and two and a half hours later is was luke warm. Then when I went to clean it out, there’s a built up gunk of hot chocolate at the bottom that looks burned. Like I said it never heated hot enough so I’m not sure why it would be burnt. I tried scrubbing with every tool in my kitchen and nothing worked. I even soaked it in hot water, then in solid vinegar. It still won’t come out. This cannot be sanitary I have to return it.
