The triangles are 4" (10.2cm) wide x 8 1/2" (20.3cm) tall.

Q: Is there an easy recipe for making croissants? Does this remove several steps?

This does remove some of the steps with the measuring and cutting eliminated but croissants are a time long process to make. Well worth it though.

Q: Can you use this to cut uniform scone triangles?

i don't know why you couldn't cut scones they would be BIG approximately 4 inches at wide part and 8 inches long

Q: Is this item dishwasher safe?

Well, I washed mine in the dishwasher, so, I guess it is!
