Great replacement
Gave my Braun toothbrush new life! This is the battery they should have given it from the factory. It runs much stronger, lasts longer, and charges faster (other than the initial charge) than the original. I did have to modify the spring and tabs to fit this since it is a couple mm longer. Made the job a little more difficult but not impossible. So far, It's working fine for the past two months with no signs of weakening.

A disappointment
This item did not fit properly on what it was intended for and after installation, it did not hold the charge.

Good replacement for OEM Triumph 9000 battery
I replaced the original battery in my Oral-B Triumph 9000 battery. The toothbrush was one of my first purchases on Amazon back in 2006 and I have used the toothbrush every day and more recently twice per day. I was amazed that the original Sanyo battery lasted so long, but the toothbrush was losing power even with constant charging. I replaced the battery with this HQRP battery and it runs like new. It's been several days since the last charge and it's still 4/4 on the battery indicator. Replacement was straight-forward. Toughest part was removing the blue plastic gromet at the tip of the brush followed by removing the battery spring. I used pliers to remove the blue gromet. You will need a soldering iron, but also desoldering wick. Some flux is recommended, but I was able to desolder without it.

Great Replacement Battery for Braun Type 3738 electric toothbrush
It's a great alternative to buying a brand new Braun electric toothbrush. As noted by others, the negative battery strip lead is not offset from the centerline like the "factory" battery, but this is easily fixed by folding the strip a couple of times to create the necessary offset.

Works great after about a half-hour of effort to install it
Although this replacement battery is 2200mAh instead of the original 1800mAh battery, it's a tad longer than the original, and the tabs are simple flat pieces of soft metal rather than nicely shaped springy metal, it is possible to salvage your Braun Triumph toothbrush that just won't .... any more due to it's end-of-lifed Ni-MH battery. You'll need several tools, some basic soldering skills, and carefully watch the video titled "Braun Oral-B Triumph Professional Care 9000 series Electric Toothbrush Battery Replacement" on that popular video site before taking apart the toothbrush to install the battery. The battery can be made to fit into the Triumph Professional 9000 toothbrush. It's diameter is exactly the same as the original, but it's length is a fair bit longer, as I captured in the attached photo. It has higher capacity, so you'll enjoy longer run-time. I've run it through several cycles of charge/discharge now that it's in my toothbrush. It holds it's charge. I haven't tested its rated capacity or its discharge rate, but then again, there aren't any other options for this Braun toothbrush battery.Tools Needed (all available on Amazon)#6 Torx screwdriverMedium sized flat head screwdriverMicro sized flat head screwdriverWire snipsSmall to medium bolt cutter snips (for cutting the spring by two turns so it'll accommodate this larger battery)Soldering iron with solder, desolder wick, desoldering vacuum pumpSide of the Braun charger cable that has a unique protrusionI like this battery because it was a great excuse to use other items that I bought on Amazon while honing my electrical technician skills. If you're thinking of getting into the trades or possibly electrical engineering, this is a wonderful starter project, plus by using this battery, you're keeping an entire powered toothbrush from prematurely landing in the landfill.
