This is an amazing bit of kit to clean your bike with all in one tidy storage unit. I have been a big fan of Peaty’s for some time now and regularly buy their stuff so rather than have everything spread out in my garage I thought it would make sense to keep all my bike cleaning kit together and so I bought this Complete Cleaning Kit. The tool box style storage until it comes in is sturdy with an aluminium handle and although I have used the Loam Foam, Degreaser and Linklube before it is the first time I have used the brushes and bamboo cleaning cloth that come as part of the kit and they are absolutely brilliant, in fact all of it is. This is a must have for any bike riding nut like me!

This is a brilliant piece of kit and definitely worth the money if you really care about taking care of your bike. The box is really heavy duty and everything has a premium look and feel to it..

Bought this as a birthday present for my husband and when he used it for the first time, he noticed a massive crack in the carry box! He’s not sure how it happened as he doesn’t recall seeing it during unpacking. In the Peatys ad, the seller stands on the box with his full weight to show how robust it is, but clearly it’s NOT!!On top of this frustration, I can also not find an option to contact Amazon to report this and discuss a replacement etc, so im lumbered with it! SO DISAPPOINTED

Did exactly what it said it would.

The kit box is genuinely solid & can fit a chain cleaner & more along with the original gear.I can sit on this box and it does not flex. The aluminium handle is particularly nice but note that the hinge etc is plastic.Still feels very rugged though so that should not put you off. I was also pleased to see that the box was made of 100% recycled plastic.All the kit components are nice. Great to see wood being used for the brush handles rather than plastic and they look and feel good too.All the cleaning solutions and brushes do what they are supposed to do… clean the bike! So I have no idea if peatys stuff is better or worse than other brands.What i do know is once i have used up all the peatys cleaning solutions I can always replace with cheaper ones and still have a great all in one box to stash them in.There is loads of extra space inside the box even with all the original kit inside including a removable parts tray which i have stuffed with extra gear.I have added a parks tool chain cleaner set CG2.4 to the box which is a chain cleaner, bottle of solvent and a chain brush.I have also added some additional Peaty’s various chain lubes and various chain tools.This box and kit is expensive (I got it in a sale bringing it down to circa £60, i would not pay £80 for it, OTT) but I am personally very happy with it. Especially as i can stash most of my other bike cleaning gear into it so it’s all kept in one neat in one place.If you have the cash and want the time saving and tidy space convenience, this could be just right for you.

I genuinely wasn’t expecting this kit to be so well made… The wooden handles brushes are lovely and really well thought about. I’ve only used the ‘bog brush’ so far (drivetrain hasn’t got grimy yet with that LinkLube!) but can tell the degreaser brush will be perfect with the kink in the handle, the lube rides (and smells) amazing and cleaners work really really well and the tool box is so strong I can jump on it!

As part of the complete cleaning kit, it was advertised as containing the chain lube . My set did not come with chain lube.
