We have been using these knives for about a month. They are fabulous!We were thinking to use them only for steaks but they are so beautiful, sharp and pleasant to hold that we have been using them for any meal ever since.I believe these knives make a good gift as well, because the box is really pretty and they are well packed and look luxurious.The only "downside" is that they are not dishwasher safe, however it is not really a fault, because any quality knife should be handwashed.

It's been a year since I got this knife and I haven't sharpened the blade once! It doesn't need it. You could slice a piece of paper with ease, this is hands down the best knife I've ever purchased. It handles like a dream, weight balanced, nice cutting level and flow. HIGHLY RECCOMEND!
