It does work. It has a strong smell so you have to wear gloves. It does keep neighbors cats and dogs from using our yard.

Smells bad and does not work. Trying to keep a dog from peeing on the same spot outside. But comes back everyday like clockwork. No amount of spray helps.

I sprayed this along my fence-line in places where I had seen my dogs biting the wooden posts. It seemed to work in certain spots more than others, but the effectiveness is questionable because those same spots became targets again after only a short period of a week. The long-term solution to any kind of pest or pesky pet problem is a permanent solution. Unfortunately, I learned that this may been not worth the money. I will have to ultimately deal with the underlying issue which is the entirety of my fence-line.

I have plugged a couple of neighbors into this product in the community, they have all thanked me. YES, it does STINK, and the key is - you will have to use it HEAVILY at first. A lot of these reviews say they sprayed it and animals returned, and rolled in it. Yeah, RIGHT! This stuff is pungent ash, I mean really strong. But again you will have to use it HEAVILY the first application, and maybe for 1 to 2 week straight, every other night. Your yard will smell like &^%#, but it will eventually deter everything. Dogs will not dump in your yard, and cats will no longer spray as well. Animals relay scent to memory, so it may take a few weeks for them to associate the smell of your yard to a NO GO. But keep applying, this stuff works. It is not cheap, so set aside $100 for a few bottles, as you may run through it if you have a decent sized yard like we do.

The smell of this is so strong and bad!!!!! I sprayed it in the garden and the smell wafted into the air and into the house like toxic fumes. We coughed for an hour. We have a neighborhood cat that likes to sleep under the hydrangea bush, if there is any living thing that can withstand that odor then good luck… so I guess this did the job, except it also repels humans!! I still feel like the smell is in my nose and will never leave!!!!!

Ok... first things first... IT WORKS! ok.. now... listen up... it smells horrendous 😫 Like super horrendous! When I read the other reviews, I thought... aww come on.. Can't be that bad. YUP! IT IS!!! We got it to deter my 1 year old boxer puppy, as she tore up our brand new turf in the back yard. (Literally brand new.. 3 days old) anywhooo.... wear gloves when handling. Throw the bag it comes in away as soon as you get it. Only order this one item all by itself!!!!!! I ordered something else, and had leakage of the pet deterrent... yikes! Wear gloves, wear gloves, wear gloves. Make sure you spray towards the wind, so it doesn't come back at you. It took me 4 hand washes (with lots of soap) using a scrubber... then spraying vinegar on my hands (since the 4 washes didn't help).. then another hand wash... then sprayed some hand sanitizer with essential oils in it.. and that did it! (All that, cuz I didn't wear gloves!) For the love of God... wear gloves. I mean this stuff is no joke! Absolutely works on the first try. I've reapplied 3 times.. but only to keep the 'smell' fresh for my dog. (Had to get the big guns.. since I had already tried vinegar, Cayenne pepper). Which I actually think she liked it. Moral of the story.... yes, get it! It works! WEAR GLOVES!!!!

I brought this to try to keep neighborhood dogs of the front of my garden. It did nothing. Used it every other day and everyday dogs ran across that part of the garden. I sprayed, then half hour later see a dog casually roaming through the area, not a care in the world. Total rip off, snake oil garbage.

This stuff actually works! We have 2 trees & a fire hydrant between street and sidewalk. Twice a day there is a parade of dogs going by, stopping to leave gifts. To the point that I finally just laid down mulch. I sprayed Liquid Fence down....Now even the neighbors dogs have stopped using our lawn as a toilet. I honestly cannot believe how well this works!
