Wolverine Men's Floorhand Waterproof 10" Soft Toe Work Boot, Dark Brown, 10.5 W US

I really wanted to keep this boot: the leather is good, the style is fine, they look like they could take some abuse; and I have to believe the claim about them being waterproof, since the company is a reputable manufacturer. But the shaft of the boot is designated as about 16 inches in diameter, inside. I figured I had worn plenty of pull-on boots in the past with no problem (though not recently). I ordered my regular size in length, and bumped it up to the wide width. It turns out I now have calves that measure somewhere between 16 inches and 18.5 inches, depending on how I measure and whether I take into account that I would be wearing the boots with pants and long socks. The boots were difficult to put on with thin socks on dry feet, and I had to have assistance pulling them off. Think of how they would be after a long day of standing in hot, wet conditions. I was disappointed--not in the boots!--but in not being able to use them. I checked the specs on the larger foot sizes, figuring I could exchange and just wear a pair (or two) of thick socks, but the specs showed the same 16 inch shaft diameter. Perhaps workers up in Michigan and elsewhere have lithe, wiry, caribou-like lower legs in contrast to my evidently elephantine extremities. I sadly sent the pull-on boots back and have bought a pair of their shorter, lace-up work boots. I ordered an 11, not my regular size of 10.5. The new ones are...roomy. But I can get into and out of them without help and I expect I will be able to get plenty of work out of them while I root around in the garden.

Excellent boot i would recommend over and over again. Regular price is $130 I paid $56 so extremely good price. The soles could last longer but they outlast most boots and im a meat cutters i walk in blood, water, and bleach on a daily basis and im on my feet for 14-15 hours a day

I got these for a friend's birthday. He loves the way they fit and says they are easy to get on and back off.

Look great, nice leather. Sliding into them is very difficult - the neck of these is very tight - heel wedges and you definitely need to firmly pull on the straps to get down into them. Once in, they are roomy and comfortable. Time will tell the durability as I see three were several reviews of premature wear / quality issues. It would be better to have the pull straps front & back.

My husband absolutely swears by these boots. The last pair he purchased about 4 years ago he almost walked right through the bottom he’s worn them so often. He says he dislikes the pointed/square toe on other boots and will only wear rounded. These are the best quality boots for such a decent price. The look is clean as well.

Not too heavy. Good workbook. Good competitive price compared to stores in my area. Saved $30 by ordering through Amazon.

Great deal on these Wolverine boots, i use the EW because i got fat feet, they are comfortable but putting them on will require breaking them in, i used my dogs leash through the pull tabs to put them on, the leash gave me leverage to pull them up smoothly. As an electrician i prefer the ELECTRICAL HAZARD soles but these will work for now,

My first pair fit/looked so nice I bought a second pair 2wks later to wear out on the town but this pair came with one used and scuffed(left) boot that had been through the mill and 1 shiney new. Very disappointed in QC!
