I didn’t realize what I was setting myself up for when I finally bought a “professional” ironing board, but I soon learned: it’s a challenge to find a cover for an oversized ironing board.Furthermore, it’s almosy impossible to find one that looks great!But that was my challenge. Our garage opens up to our utility room, one of the first things you see as you come home is indeed our ironing board hanging on the wall. I really wanted something worth looking at, not something that screamed “country” or “1970s housewife.”It took a few months, but I finally found it!How great does this look? MY HUSBAND MENTIONED IT!!Bonus: it fits my board perfectly and is great to iron on.

The graphic design on the pad is awsome and makes your plain basic ironing board cover look beyond boring. That being said, this cover is very thin and is not sinching well around my board. It comes out the package completly flat and must be threaded through the plastic drawstring piece. No matter how tight I pull, I cant get it to tighten on the sides, just the ends. I have a very old, solid wooden board,but I suspect it would slide all over the place on a metal board. It would also allow any holes in the board to imprint through. There also isnt any noticeable silicone coating. I purchased the Kennedy Home Collection Silicone coated pad as well.I am going to keep both and use the Kennedy as padding under this cover. The print rocks, the cover itself does not.

I bought a Home Essentials Wide Ironing board for her dewing room and the time finally came when the cover needed replacing. We looked all over town and then Amazon to find something that would fit the 19" x 52" top. It's difficult to find covers for wide boards. Then we stumbled across this one. I double checked the dimensions for the board and cover and proceeded with the order. It just arrived. And it fits the 19" x 52" top beautifully. And since my wife is a big fan of Paris, France (have been there a couple of times) this fancy, decorative cover looks great in her sewing room.

Nice design, so it will cover up any scorch marks I make. It’s not as thick as my old cover, more of a foam than a soft cotton batting, and doesn’t fit over the old cover, as the “tips” suggested to use it over the top. My board is 18.5” wide and it was too thick using both pads for the cover to extend over the sides as it should, so I removed the old cover. Also the pull string used to tighten the cover really doesn’t tighten as much as it should. I watched the video and did as it showed, and it’s workable, just not as tight as it should be. Elastic with a pull string might be a better option, imo.

I just had my kitchen and laundry room remodeled after a bad water leak. I sort of went with a Paris theme. I was really excited when I found this ironing board cover! It's perfect for my décor and even looks nice with my fancy red trash can. LOL I like the texture of the cover and how smooth it is. It's easy to use and the iron glides over it. Love it!

Cover is padded and went on the board easily. My board is 49 x 19 and it fit perfectly and I believe there is room in the cover to fit a board a bit larger. It is well made. I had to use some scotch tape to mesh the strings thru the holder before pulling one it, as the strings wanted to ravel, but after getting them thru and pulling then tight I tied a knot in them so not to ravel anymore.... I believe this will last a lot long than the last I one I purchase - which was the silicone type which I will never buy again as it bunched up and the silicone melted ....

I love the design and the surface finish. However, I noted that the quality was not as good as the one it replaced (so I hope it holds up as well) It had a drawstring to cinch the cover which took a while to put it on snugly (unlike my old one that had a sturdy gathered elastic with velcro straps to secure.) the padding was also more like a low density foam compared to my old one that was twice as thick and more like quilt batting).

This is a fabulous ironing board cover! It is a quality product! This cover is made of a heavy, sturdy fabric that DOES NOT FADE! I chose the Eiffel Tower pattern because I love the Eiffel Tower, and after at least 50 years of ironing, the sight of a scorched white or silver cover made me weary. Ironing is not always a pleasant experience, but a colorful board cover makes this chore a little easier! Do not be afraid of the colors in this cover. They do not bleed or rub off on your clothes. You will love this product!
