AFM/DFM Active Fuel Management Disabler Compatible with V6/V8 GM Vehicles RA003

This made my 2018 Silverado 5.3 V8 actually a V8! Buy it and don’t worry or wait. If you have looked at them just get it. Its awesome when you press that pedal and there’s no lag from 4cyl to v8 and no awkward shifting back and fourth. That alone is worth the money if there was no mpg saving but there is. I get 1-4 mpg better depending how I drive and even saw 6 mpg better on one trip I made.This works as it should and was very easy to install in the truck. I did put it in a few weeks before a big trip I was taking to make sure it didn’t mess with the motor and throw a code but I’ve never had a issue. I do get better mileage now that my truck isn’t searching for 4cyl to save gas for 2 seconds then have a 5 second delay to give me my V8 power back. I do notice my truck seems to shift later when I take off from a stop sign and give it a bit especially if I’m pulling my boat when it didn’t do that before. The only thing I worry about is I’ve noticed my truck when idling in a drive through after driving for a bit it seems like it’s running not rough but not quite right and feels like it’s going to idle too low and shut off. It never has shut off but it does still give me a bit of anxiety when I see it happen each time. Overall I would recommend buying this it works great and for half the price of the Range brand. One thing that actually bugs me but it’s because I’m weird but there are 4 lights on this and I can’t figure out why some times 3 are blue when others it will but just 1 I’ve never see all 4 light up at the same time. Again dumb things like that kinda get to me but In no way does it effect the product 100% recommendation.

June 9th I ordered this product, and yesterday 08-01-22 it stopped working completely. Other then that it was working great but now nothing. If there is any way to replace it then I would leave a better review.The seller was very easy to work with and immediately sent me a refund and made sure that I was satisfied.I highly recommend this seller based on my personal experience.5 star customer service!

Installed after repairs to a '13 Yukon 6.2 with collapsed lifter. Is working great,fuel mileage is actually increased. Simply plug it in .

Feels solid. LEDs are semi bright but not distracting. Some people had issues with draining battery power if left plugged in. I drive my truck everyday no battery draining. It’s always in. Even if I’m off and it sits for a day or two. Still starts. AFM DOD is not active. Doesn’t fix my lifters but it’s preventing further damage. Cheap hack. You get 5 stars

This item is complete crap. I bought it in July 2022. I used it immediately once and it seemed to do the job. I went to use it for the 2nd time recently and it stopped working. They lights do not come on and it is not disabling my fuel management system. Spend the extra money and get the RANGE. I’ve been trying to contact my seller for months and no luck. Don’t buy this garbage!
