Works well, but too many threads, and requires complete removal of the cap to vent
The vent caps seal well, and seem to be good quality. They shouldn't crack like the yellow plastic vents. I used these to retrofit the yellow caps, but I had to make a TPU bushing to seal the larger hole left by the yellow vents and adapt it to these vent caps snugly. The rubber cap saver is useless though since they would not turn if the nut securing the vent is tightened. The cap will seal with what seems to be a single thread. It does suck that I have to completely remove the cap for it to vent.

Gas can vents
A wee bit of a learning curve. That said, they work as advertised. I have no regrets about buying them.

Works great
Not hat hard to install. I am concerned that it sticks out and will catch on something and snap off. No problem yet though.

Make sure you pull one of the o rings off before you install the fitting
I think these are great, easy to install as long as you remove one o-ring before you install the fitting.I didn't so I got to install it twice!! But other than that, these are great. My gas can is much nicer now.

Leaks like crazy. Much worse than the plastic plugs I wanted to replace!
The plan was to replace the little white plastic plug on the 6-gallon Igloo potable water containers. That plug leaks *occasionally* when the jug is on its side. These were really highly reviewed and the screw seemed like a more robust & leak-proof method than the other rubber plugs that just squeeze into a drilled hole.Well, as far as that goes, it is - it doesn't leak around the hole in the plastic AT ALL. It's much, much dumber than that. The tiny bit of rubber inside the cap isn't deep enough to make a tight seal on the end of the threads when you screw the cap on. Even when I used vice grips to really crank the cap down.I tried 2 different caps, it's a design flaw, not just a case of 1 cap missing a rubber washer or something.Of course now that I've drilled the hole out, I can't just go back to the OEM plastic that only leaked a little. I'm stuck with this massively leaky one.AVOID THIS PRODUCT.
