It's only been a few weeks since installation (in a clawfoot tub) but the shower seems to work great.Had to buy a vertical extension bar (don't know why it's not included as part of the kit. I'd happily pay an extra $15-20 up front). You will also need a horizontal extension from the vertical shower pipe to the wall if you are installing on a clawfoot tub. You will also need an adjuster kit to bring the connection holes close enough to fit the distance between the holes in the clawfoot tub. Be sure to ask for the kit that has a long enough extension to go through the holes in the clawfoot tub and still have enough to screw on the water supply lines. I had to return the first kit and receive a 2nd one with longer stubs.Good news about needing these extras is that the email response to questions is good and fast.Brass finish looks great. The on/off turn in a counter intuitive way (one is clockwise and the other is counterclockwise). No big deal. Also the on-off is a 1/4 or 1/2 turn so it makes adjusting the water flow and temperature sensitive. Best solution is to turn your water heater temperature down to the temperature you need at the shower. Then all you need is to turn the hot water on and not have to cool it down with some cold water. Energy saving.Bottom line - Yes I would buy this item again from this vendor.

This is a nice faucet and shower head. However, take note that if have a claw foot, and you do not know what product is not provided, you will pay a week’s worth plus of time buying the right adapters, which will slow your clawfoot/bathroom remodel.We have had 3 problems. First you have to buy a supply line adapter to make the supply lines able to hook to the faucet. Most clawfoot supply holes are about 3 inches apart. This faucet is 6 inches.Second, they do not provide a wall extender that screws to the wall to support your pipe.Third, you have to buy a 12” or 16” piper extender if you are taking a shower in a clawfoot and are above 5’ tall— you also need this extender to easily install your shower curtain.This product can be worth it, but take it from someone who has wasted days on this— know exactly what you need because this product is short of everything you will need costing you time and money.

Built well and a great value. Had an issue with a piece I broke and the sent me out extra parts for just a shopping fee, excellent service!!

I bought this after the more expensive and very similar one I bought from another site was defective and my plumber couldn’t install it. He had no issues installing this one and it looks so good! Wish I had bought this one first, works great for my outdoor bathtub and shower.

Overall it's a good shower kit. Budget friendly if you are going for the exposed pipe look. I needed to get two extensions to make it work for my arrangement. You'll definitely need one extension no matter what. Plumbing and all is pretty straight forward. I didn't have any leakage issues with the various connections as others have mentioned so might be some user error on their part. Be careful tightening all the fittings, use protection not to scratch the pieces. I've had it installed for a few weeks now, will update if any issue come up.
