Beautiful and sounds the same.
My wife has been playing a much older model on and off for years. She decided it was time for a new one to help with our ministry at an assisted living facility. She absolutely loves this autoharp and has discover a renewed interest in playing. The sounds are beautiful and easy to play. I would highly recommend this for anyone wanting to take up the autoharp or a seasoned player wanting to "go electric". Beautiful workmanship.

After 6 weeks chord bar no longer functioning
Beautiful looking given as christmas present After 6 weeks chord bar felts falling off. F# no longer plays at all. Not sure why possibly the glue used to attach the felts Will likely have to return it... But going to see about getting another chord bar first, as I really like the look and sound of it

To start, a few adjustments are in order…
A few adjustments are needed to make it work. Once a key is pressed followed by switching to another key, good chance that the first key (bar) will not release. This is not because of player skill level. The buttons are locking each other due to design issue. Need to file all the buttons in several places to round out the sharp edges to prevent this (see picture). The three legs at the bottom are useless and counterproductive. Can’t hold down the tuning pins with an uneven and wobbly bottom. Should install more legs or simply replace with felt strips to make a flat surface. Strap pins need to be purchased and installed separately and good instructions are available on the internet. Overall a great starter instrument for the price. Solid three and a half stars.

Beautiful Instrument, Sounds Amazing, Prompt Delivery!
Arrived ahead of predicted date and in perfect condition! Arrived already pretuned, just needed a little adjustment, and the package contained the tuning wrench and a couple of picks as well, and of course the cable was included. Sounds beautiful acoustic and though my old Fender Acoustasonic amp. Ordered the gig bag and stand (pictures) separately. I partly got this because problems with my neck and shoulders made guitar difficult, but since the autoharp is held almost like a baby, I can play for longer and with almost no pain. Already working on translating my guitar tunes to the harp!

Can’t keep 7 strings to hold their tune !
This product looks good in every way except there are 7 strings that will not stay in tune ! So far I haven’t been able to get this problem solved. I either need to send it back or someone to tell me what I can do to solve the problem !!

Good product in accurately described
This is a fine Oscar Schmidt instrument but it does NOT include the Ft600 fine tuning system as specified.. It looks like you’re saving money but if the tuning refinement matters to you, you’re wasting time.
