It was easy to set up and maintain. A wonderful choice if you're looking for something decorative that also brings a sense of calm and balance.

Nothing actually wrong, works well. Smaller than expected and water noise just wasn’t loud enough for me. Wanted something for my operatory at work to calm patients. If they can’t hear it, what’s the point?

Misrepresentation at its best! There is no on/off switch, as mentioned in the description, and the ball does rotate; however, ensure it's not just sitting in the water, i.e., the pump is not on the highest setting. I found that the ball turns best on the lowest setting of the pump. The lighting in this piece is underrated and severely underperforms. It is too big to fit into the tiny space under the ball bowl. Forget any trickling water sounds reminiscent of a waterfall. This thing is as quiet as a mouse, including the pump. So, quietness is about the only positive thing I can say about this fountain. I did have high hopes and expectations based on the reviews, but that's on me.

This thing is very cool and compact enough to fit on any desk, but its SUCH a pain to keep the ball spinning at the top so it lost two stars. Algae will inevitably slowly grow wherever its wet. When the ball stops spinning you know that it's time to clean your fountain's pump. If its under a lamp or a nearby window the algae grows faster. I got so tired of doing it, I just took the ball off and just let it function as a normal fountain. Just thought you should know this takes a little maintenance.

Nice little fountain, if it makes too much noise or the sphere does not spin properly. Add more water, a few milliliters at a time. The pump needs to be submerged in the base properly.You will have to add a bit of water each day due to evaporation. But it is a very nice desk addition.

I bought this fountain for my Mom and she is very impressed with how good it works. We put water in the basin the day it was delivered, and it's been 5 days now and we are now just having to refill the water. The fountain is very quiet and calming. I highly recommend this fountain. It was easy to set up and I had it running in about 5 minutes after opening the box.
