This is actually my second pair of Ugly Monkey NOG's, only because my wife "permanently borrowed" them from me! These are tough and built to last even with heavy use. They are extremely comfortable and ensure a tight grip. These have definitely saved my hands from ripping and tearing. Highly recommend!

I've worn full hand gloves at the gym ever since I could remember and thought those were the only way to go. After about 3 months of glove use, it's time to buy a new set. ENTER THE NOGS - I bought the nogs a couple of weeks ago on recommendation from a friend. I was a bit skeptical due to it being something different than what I was used to. Upon first use I found them to be a little stiff - had to be broken in (duh). Now I can say with full confidence these are my go to hand protection. They provide more grip than normal leather lifting gloves, more comfortable because they are open (less hand sweat), easy on/easy off, and (this may sound a little dumb) when I flap my hands, they flap as well which helps in cooling my hands/forearms. I would recommend for cross-fitter's and lifters alike. Based on the materials, I know I will not need a new pair for a very long time.

The stitching is coming off on the sides of the inserts where you slide your fingers in. I feel like the finger inserts themselves are too small for someone who does pull ups. But overall, does it serve its function? Yes, and really well, the padding much better than your average weight lifting gloves, I'm so happy that my workouts can be done faster and easier because my callouses aren't burning in pain.

Most gloves seem to be designed for small hands, then they scale the dimensions up for larger hands without retesting. That might be okay for yardwork, but for lifting weights, its unacceptable.These don't have that problem. They can't really fit wrongly, by design. That means no more sore palms. I'll definitely buy these again if I ever need another pair (they're floppier than when I got them, but seem like they'll hold up).

I’ve tried many types of gloves for lifting and this is definitely the best. This is very comfortable and has much more padding than similar products. Also, it’s small enough to store in your pockets.Due to a medical condition for my hand, I need to have extra padding on my palms and this is perfect for that. I highly recommend this product.

I never wanted to be "that guy" walking through the gym with fingerless gloves on. Personally, it looks corny to me. Anyway, I found these. All I can say is that they are absolutely perfect for me. I love them. Easy on. Easy off. The fit and thickness is spot on.
