This is perfect for a virtual doctor appointment. Our son is prone to ear infections and this saves us a trip to urgent care. The doctor can virtually look in his ear through the camera! Very easy to use and setup

I’ve been getting frequent ear infections and wanted a way to check my ears myself to help with when I need to call the doctor vs when I don’t. You cannot use this on yourself because of it attaching to the screen but you have to look at the screen at the same time. So, I have to get someone else to help me use it, which is fine (but there are other otoscopes on Amazon for 1/2 this price that you can use on yourself, are easier to use, and have better quality images). Connecting this to the phone is awkward and has to be very accurate to work properly. You don’t have any control over taking photos/videos. You start the app and follow the instructions and it automatically takes a 6 second video. I tested it on my husband since I can’t use it on myself and not once was I able to actually get a good view of his ear drum. Also, the covers don’t stay on well, they all came off and blocked the view of the camera. I wish I’d done more research before buying this because I can’t return it now. But I did purchase a different otoscope for 1/2 the cost of this one that I can use on myself and takes great pictures and videos when I choose to. Maybe I’ll find someone else to donate this to who will have better luck than I did.

Easy to use, saved me a trip to the doctor!

I both this product (that by the way is really good) to use on my Iphone 12 and it worked. When I changed for the Iphone 14 it said that the app is not compatible with that phone. So basically I cannot use it anymore. So before you buy it, make sure that you cellphone is ready for this app/product.

Really impressed with the image quality. Exactly what I needed!

Probably user error, but this was difficult to use. All the warnings once setting up the product also made me nervous to use this on my 8 month old.

It’s almost impossible to get the tips to stay on, they just fall out in the ear. Of course, I didn’t know this until the return period was passed, because this isn’t the sort of product you bust open and use immediately. And Tylenol support has been completely unhelpful. Save yourself the trouble and don’t bother with this.

Was able to use it to take a video of my son’s eardrums and upload to telemed via the app over the weekend!The second time he got an ear infection I used the original images of my son's healthy ear and was able to compare. It helped me know that I needed to bring him to the doc, which was helpful. He is back to normal now!!
