These are by far the best toothpicks I have ever used. I found them harder and harder to find in the store so was glad to see them on Amazon. The pick side is VERY sturdy and effective at removing particles between teeth. The best part of these though is the fishbone pick. It doesn't just push the particles around, but gets them trapped in-between the "spines". They might not be as sturdy as other fishbone designs I have tried, but the sturdy ones are too thick to get into my problem areas. I keep a pack on me all the time and when I give one to someone, they frequently comment on them and want to know where I got them. I would have thought that was a silly comment about toothpicks, except it happens to me.

Was first given one of these little guys by a fellow passenger on a cruise one year. He carried a box with him wherever he went and I know why. THEY are GREAT. Little brushes on the end really help get all the nasty bits out plus it is made of a bone/plastic type material so it doesn't splinter or break like wooden TPs. These TP are really REALLY good. I love em and they are all I use now. Te small boxes they come in are easy to carry with you.

Since I began using BrushPicks along with my usual brushing-flossing dental routine, my checkups have been terrific! Instead of using a toothpick, I just work the little plastic brush between my teeth after every meal. Unfortunately, my pharmacy is inconsistent in stocking the BrushPick brand (no other like them!), so I was thrilled when I found them online at Amazon. Thought I'd bought a huge supply until family & friends found them in my cabinet. Now they're hooked on BrushPicks, too. The Doctor's BrushPicks Toothpicks, 250 Picks (Pack of 12)

I bought 12 packages of these (enough to last me several lifetimes) because these were the only product that worked well for my teeth. Now I learn that the brushpick has been "new and improved" since I last purchased them. The pointy end is now too thick for my teeth. And, the brush end is now too thick and too long for my teeth.

When I admitted to the dental hygienist that I am not flossing regularly but use BrushPicks constantly, I was given "the lecture" and scolded. But when she looked at the state of my (50+ year-old) teeth and gums, she had to admit that the BrushPicks are doing an excellent job. I have been using them for 5 years, and they are better than flossing. Granted, flossing is sometimes necessary to get out some details, but as a regular tool for gums and the spaces between teeth BrushPicks can't be surpassed. Unfortunately they have become expensive and are ridiculously hard to find locally—oddly, most drug stores have a silly variety of those floss/picker combination where the floss part inevitably breaks—but Amazon came to the rescue with massive quantities for a great price. With the quantities I ordered I can have them everywhere, and at my age, still leave a few (unopened) boxes for posterity ;-)

These get the surfaces between teeth nice and clean, I think do a better job than floss, but instead of 12 120-count packs, I received 36 40-count packs. It's the same amount, really just as handy, but it's not what I ordered.

These plastic toothpicks with their double comb edges really do the job for me. Food would get in between my teeth near the gum line of even in pockets in the gum between my teeth that dental floss could not remove. The comb edges reach down and up and get all the food out. I no longer have pain from food between my teeth or bleeding gums that resulted. It took a little time using them before I learned how to maneuver them since they are pretty flexible. With a little practice, I can clean all my teeth really quickly now.
