My 2019 TRD 4runner rides and handles much better!
After upgrading the front shocks on my 2019 4Runner TRD Off Road with Bilsteins, the nose dive was reduced dramatically but my 4runner was still swaying and rocking like a boat when turning and cornering but not as bad when I had the stock front shocks. Once I upgraded the rear ones with these Bilsteins, the truck handled a lot better and for the 1st time I felt more confident on the highway. The ride feels more tight and a bit stiff in a good way! I am still running the stock tires. This is one of the best investment I have ever made for my truck. P.S I did gain about 0.3 inch height after upgrading the rear shocks.

Bilsteins are Great!
I bought these for my 2005 Toyota 4Runner as rear shock replacements. I also replaced my rear coils at the same time. Bilstein 5100's are ubiquitous among my application as well as all countless other truck applications, on and off-road.The install was easy and straight forward. Took about an hour to do the entire rear suspension.I'm very pleased with my new rear suspension. Ride is tight yet still supple and the rear axle feels more live and responsive. Also, the brushed aluminum casing of the shock body looks fantastic!I got a great price from Amazon and I am very happy with my purchase!

the ride is comfortable but controlled
Replaced as a set of four, the ride is comfortable but controlled, actually softer than I thought it would be. My only complaint is that when the bushings are new it's hard to compress them enough to get the nut started on the top of the shock. Swearing at it while I kept trying seemed to do the trick. If they had just made the threads a millimeter longer it would have been no problem. Now that they are installed I am happy. I've Installed Bilstein shocks and struts on other vehicles and they all worked really well for years, I'm expecting the same out of these.

You just can’t beat Bilstein shocks
I put these shocks on my 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser. I have this series of Bilstein now on all four corners (fronts are a different model number) They are a great shock and restored my stock ride height in the rear (about 1inch higher now in the back). These say 2” lift but that means you can use these if you have a 2” lift on your ride. These shocks are responsive and are well made. Far superior to OEM replacements. My FJ feels brand new when I drive it now. Installation was easy too, I did it in my garage in about an hour, and most of that time was getting the old shock’s top nut off! Get these if you don’t want to replace them again for a long time!

Good
The stock shocks have a metal bushing in between the rubber bushings and these ones don’t, seems like they’ll wear out prematurely because of it. Otherwise they’re good shocks.

the ride quality is not as great as the OEM air suspension
Installed these on my wife's Lexus GX470 along with some Old Man Emu springs. As you would expect, the ride quality is not as great as the OEM air suspension, but nonetheless, it is still very comfortable and by installing the whole setup myself, I saved about $3200 over having the dealership replace a damaged airbag. With the OME springs, my rear ride height did increase about 2 inches. It does not look strange, and I am OK with it . I will likely put a set of these shocks on the front this summer to even out the ride height and because its time for new shocks up front.

Perfect for leveling my Toyota 4Runner, Improves Off-Road Ride / Performance
I got these shocks to level my 2008 Toyota 4Runner. I paired them with the "Bilstein (24-186711) 5100 Series Front Shock Absorber" and now my 4Runner rides MUCH BETTER! Our SUV rode like a boat with the stock suspension. It rides much better now. It looks more aggressive and has better off-road performance.Raised the REAR by about .75 inches, (Bilstein (24-186711) 5100 Series Front Shock Absorber raise the FRONT by 3 inches_I purchased these off Amazon to save money, way better price online than I could get at my local auto shop.I would recommend this product.

Great replacement shocks for FJ Cruiser
Great shocks. Raised the rear of my FJ Cruisers about 1/2 inch which was fine with me. Feels more solid than OEM units I replaced. The installation was fine, not too difficult. I realized afterward that I should have jacked up the frame of the FJ to ease getting the units in and out. The only part I do not like is the rubber boot. Seems upside-down to have it at the bottom. But I figure Bilstein has tested it out for durability.
