Brilliant for travel, camping etc, but also feminine hygiene wipes!
Going to Uzbekistan and Kyrgystan on holiday I was aware that toilet paper would not always be easy to find, so I decided to purchase these.I got a few packets and found them a godsend, they really come in handy where there are no toilet rolls, and make you feel a lot more cleaner than using a toilet roll-especially for women down there! They give you a nice, fresh feeling after you've done your business, and as I've said better than just toilet roll. They were especially very handy when we went up into the mountains in Kyrgystan and there was no toilet paper at all available, in the very basic toilet kind of shed up there, with a hole in the ground. It's true they do sometimes come out a few at a time and tear, but look at the price range, plus they do the job very well.Definitely buy these if you are going abroad and don't worry about a few coming out, it's not as if one packet costs £12!Also for women, far cheaper and more effective than feminine wipes that can sometimes 'sting'. I use them to freshen up, they're excellent for times when you're travelling and can't have a shower for the down there area, or just want to keep nice and fresh! Not just that, but when you're on your monthly cycle and want a freshen up, these are excellent and make you feel fresh and clean, as if you've had a shower.

Flushable
The packaging states the tissues are flushable although they do seem quite substantial. A useful product.

Finally, a truly flushable wipe without the harsh, toxic chemicals!
The media could not be loaded. It's quite surprising how few people are aware of the potential dangers associated with some modern wet wipes. Many contain chemicals like alcohol, chlorine, parabens, SLS, MCI, phthalates, and artificial fragrances, which can irritate the skin, disrupt hormones, and harm the environment. MCI (methylchloroisothiazolinone) can be incredibly harsh on the skin and cause rashes that might go unnoticed due to their often-hidden locations. SLS, in particular, can strip the skin of its natural oils, while phthalates and formaldehyde-releasing agents are linked to health risks, including potential cancer and reproductive issues. Alcohol and artificial fragrances can irritate the perianal area, causing conditions like perianal dermatitis. As convenient as regular wet wipes may seem, they often carry more health risks than benefits. The environmental side is just as concerning. Despite being advertised as flushable, most wet wipes are not biodegradable and contain strong plastic fibres. This means, unlike toilet paper, they don't break down in our plumbing or in sewers. Many people, myself included, have flushed these wipes, only to end up dealing with clogged toilets and even overflowing sewage pipes. It’s an unpleasant experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone. When flushed, these wipes can combine with fats, oils, and grease to form "fatbergs" that block pipes and sewer systems. Worse still, they contribute to pollution when they end up in water bodies, posing serious threats to aquatic life.To avoid these concerns, I have been using safe, toxic-free, biodegradable wet wipes from various companies for the past few years. However, they are still relatively new, and many supermarkets don’t stock them due to their higher price compared to standard wet wipes. It's disheartening, as the cheaper price of regular wipes comes at the cost of our health and the environment. I've already switched to unbleached, toxic-free bamboo toilet paper, but finding a reliable, cost-effective alternative for wet wipes has been challenging, especially now that my local supermarket has stopped carrying the ones I usually buy.Luckily, I found these Pura Flushable Moist Toilet Tissue Wipes, which seemed to tick all the boxes, so I decided to give them a try, and I’m so glad I did because they are fantastic. These wipes are accredited as "Fine to Flush" by Water UK, meaning they are genuinely flushable and break down just like toilet paper. Made from 99% water and organic aloe vera, they are suitable for sensitive and eczema-prone skin, and they are dermatologically approved. They are 100% plastic-free, biodegradable, and compostable, made from plant fibres, and certified by multiple organizations including the British Skin Foundation, Allergy UK, and the Soil Association. The quality of these wipes is truly impressive. They are soft to the touch and provide a gentle experience on the skin, with a soothing effect thanks to the aloe vera. Unlike many other brands, these wipes are thick and moist, offering a subtle freshness that ensures a clean feeling without being overly wet. The size is also excellent; they're larger than most competing brands, which means fewer wipes are needed per use, providing great value for money. In terms of packaging, I was pleased to find that the wipes are now interleaved, so they follow each other out of the pack, making them easy to pull out one by one without tearing. I've seen some reviews mentioning issues with the wipes not coming out individually or tearing, but I haven’t experienced that at all with any of the packs I've used. The seal on the pack is incredibly strong, which helps maintain their moisture, something I’ve had problems with when using cheaper supermarket brands. The moisture level is just right. Not too dry, but also not soaking wet with chemicals. There is a very faint scent, but it doesn’t smell like anything specific, which I actually prefer. I don’t need my flushable wipes to have an overpowering aroma. These wipes are also versatile. They’re great not just for personal hygiene but also for quick household cleaning, and they’ve come in handy for camping trips. When it comes to the price, I paid £12.18 for 14 packs, each containing 40 wipes (560 wipes total). While this is more expensive than standard toilet wipes, it’s still fantastic value for money considering what you’re getting: a wipe that’s safe to use, made without fragrances, alcohol, parabens, and totally chlorine-free. I’m just grateful to Pura for making such an excellent product. If you’re on the fence about trying them, you can also get individual packs for less than £1, so there’s little risk in giving them a go. They are the best option I've found for those looking for a safe, effective, and environmentally friendly alternative to regular wet wipes. Give them a go, you won't be disappointed.Thank you for taking the time to read my review. I hope that you found it helpful and that it assists you in your decision-making. I try to be as honest and fair as possible, as those have always been the reviews that helped me the most.

These are a good size! Very nice to use
Very nice to use, aloe vera is a lovely ingredient, the paper is bio degradable and breaks up easily. They are very difficult to get out of the packet, so while I really like the product and it's biodegradability, they are incredibly frustrating in use.HOWEVER I have a solution - an old ice-cream container, cut the pack of wipes open and use the wipes from the container, I can fit several packs into my container but have to remind people to close the lid securely.

Good for cassette toilets
Used instead of conventional toilet tissue in a cassette toilet. It's a good moist tissue and breaks down well in the holding tank so no issues when emptying. Perhaps a bit to much info but boat and caravan owners will know what I mean! Nice and compact compared to paper toilet roll and good value if ordered on repeat. No particular scent and good for "sensitive areas"The negative point is that it's not easy to remove one sheet at a time from the packet as they stick together.
