We use this when we are out and about and want to help level-out the noise for our daughter if we're somewhere really loud, or when she needs to take naps while we are somewhere other than home. (she is less than 1 yr old). This works great and is super easy to use. Cute and durable design-- has handy hook attached to it so it can be attached easily to anything (hung from doorknob when we're out, on the stroller, in the diaper-bag for easy-access, etc., or used as a stand. Has 3 distinct water-based noises that are all comforting with decent quality. We use the 2nd (babbling brook), as it is similar to the Alexa Sleep-Sound we use for her at home. We only use it when we are out, so the battery life works well for our lifestyle. The longest we've had it going on was for about 2-3 hours (in addition to playing in different interval settings, it also has an indefinite repeat which is nice). The sound can get very loud, it really pumps out a lot of noise for such a small thing. I was very surprised and impressed with how loud it could be. We haven't tried the Bluetooth feature, but great to know it has that in addition if we want to use in the future when she's bigger. The only bummer is the volume control emits a very loud 'clicking' noise when you're cycling up or down. It's annoying, and can be disruptive for a kid that's almost asleep already, but we don't really mess with ours a lot so its on the same setting almost all the time.

This little white noise machine may look small, but it is plenty powerful! I love that you can record your own music or even use it as a bluetooth speaker (my husband enjoyed that on Halloween when a big baseball game was on!!) and love that it is portable and can be hung on my son's crib, pack n play, or his car seat, where we can take it around with us! It is also super convenient that it recharges with a standard USB mini-b cable, which can always be found at a friend or relative's house if we forget ours. :) UPDATE: It is over 1-year since we received it and the battery is going strong and recharges as if it was new. We use it every single night for 10+ hours and for twice daily naps. Despite all the times it has gotten tossed & bumped around, it still sounds like new. Wow! Probably one of the best products I've ever bought for the price! Honestly for this price, I wasn't expecting much. I just received the machine today and when I opened it up, I was pleased with everything from the start. It is very well-made, the front is soft in the ears and other support pieces are chewable as stated in the description. The belly is the speaker as well as a speaker on the back. I found turning it on and turning it to Bluetooth mood very easy; it was also easy to adjust the volume and locate the timers on the side. The White Noise sounds are very realistic sounding, not cheap at all. The speaker is also very loud for how small it is and a very good quality for the price. I played regular music through it and tested the voice share app. Both were very easy to use and I did all this in the space of about 5 minutes. The one thing about voice share I will say, is that you do have to pay for extra songs, Etc, which I was not aware of before I purchased the machine. However, for me that doesn't draw apart from it because I can still use other music streamed from other apps. Definitely recommend this and can't wait to use it for my child!

I bought the hatch machine but realized it’s pointless since my baby is sleeping w/ me in her basinet still , so I needed something that was small and wouldn’t take up space. I also play lullabys from my phone but I hated leaving my phone when I needed it around the house so the fact that this has a blue tooth option was awesome!!! I love it so much I carry it around the house ! Battery last a long time , the timer is great too, its so cute and not bulky the sounds that come w/ it are awesome too I use the shush sound or the rain sound as it makes my baby go to sleep, I do wish it came with some time of night light or something but other than that this is a must have in ur baby registry

Great little speaker! The two preset calming sounds work like a charm for my 7mo. Volume can be very loud or soft- although the dial to adjust makes a clicking noise. The battery charge lasts about a week running this for (30, 60, or 90 minutes) several times a day for naps and a few times during the night. I wish the charger cord was longer. I realize this could be a strangulation hazard. Any micro phone charger cord will work. The reason I went with this sound machine was because I didn't want another stuffed velcro animal. Those didn't last. The bluetooth option really appalled to me as this device can be used as a portable speaker long after the shhhhushhhing days are done. :) I wish this wasn't as expensive as it is, but the versatility and portability makes up for it.

Basics: Easy to use, travels nicely, great extra features including Bluetooth, and baby friendly. I would recommend to other moms! Details: Just received this today and I already love it. I purchased the owl SoundBub. It comes packaged very nicely, easy to follow directions and simple to use. It is preprogrammed with 3 white noise type sounds and it’s built in timer can be set for 30, 60, 90 minutes or continuous play. It comes with a rechargeable battery inside the machine and a charging cord. The cord has a USB port on one side and the other side plugs into the machine (if you want to charge using a wall outlet you will need an adapter). The clip folds and moves so easily. It stands up easily and clips onto my car seat with ease. I even hang it on the pack-n-play. Bluetooth: You receive a pamphlet with information about their app along with a code for more white noise tracks and even some lullabies. The coolest thing about this is that you can record your voice and play it through the speaker. They also have a book reading feature and a sing along option (haven’t used those yet). I am very happy with this purchase 😊

Update: after about 3 months of using this product multiple times a day, on the lowest volume setting the speakers went out. At the time it was past where I could return it. When contacting the manufacturer I never got a response. I debated over and over on buying another one because I enjoyed it before it crapped out. Which was a total disappointment. I ended up downloading a free white noise app on both my Kindle Fire and my cellphone so I just play the ocean sounds on either of those when my daughter is sleeping. If I would have paid better attention to white noise apps I would have never spent the money on the Sound Bub owl. I could understand the product breaking if I ran the speaker loudly. But it was always as quiet as possible. As I mentioned in my original review of this product, I dont use it on loud. Was disappointed overall after all the good reviews I had seen. Original: This product is a life saver. I couldn't imagine car rides or even nap times without it. I had purchased this for my 4month old daughter. She cannot sleep without white noise and after spending 4 months going "shhh" for what seemed like hours on end I began searching for a white noise machine. The first one i purchased was not portable and did not impress me or my baby. I spend a lot of time chauffeuring children to and from school so I needed something portable. The Soundbub had good reviews and seemed that it would fit our needs. And for the price it has blown me away! The battery life (which others complained about) is exceptional for an on the go machine. I can use it for days without it dying on me. Which it hasnt yet but every 4 days I just plug it in. I just turned it on to get my daughter to drift off to sleep alone and voila it worked. No other machine does that. If she doesnt have one of the 3 sounds this comes with (all though the babbling brook is her favorite) she has to be snuggled tight. Let's me get things done when I need to be baby free. The sound quality is excellent too. It's very clear, the volume I feel could have a quieter option because even on the lowest setting it's pretty loud in my opinion.

This is one of my favorite purchases for Baby #2. Due to my experience with our first, I knew that we needed a high quality white noise sound machine to help baby sleep. This is awesome because it’s small, lightweight, and portable. I bring it with me on errands and when I visit friends and family since it’s so easy to transport. It has 3 preset sounds - ocean, rain, and a stream/water running sound. We use this on a daily basis for all naps and during nighttime sleep. The battery also lasts all night, and then I charge it during the morning so it’s ready for the first nap or the day and it will last all day and that night again. I never worry about it running out of battery once I charge it in the morning. It also has a blue tooth feature which I have yet to use, but seems like a cool feature. Super cute and easy to use.
