The product is fine.However the product description says the canvas is stamped. The canvas is not color coded stamped as some may think. It is just stamped with blue squares to make counting easier when using the chart. See attached picture It has come to my attention that the manufacture of all the popular latch hook kits stopped stamping the canvas with the color illustration about 2 years ago. If someone happens to have a color coded stamped canvas its from older stock. So a kit this size would not be for a beginner. The only issue I had with this particular kit was it was difficult to see the black and green on the color chart. The person who created this should have made the instructions in black and white with various symbols. The chart is pretty in color but difficult to read in the beginning.

This was the first latch hook I had done in more than 40 years and although it did not have the pattern stamped on the fabric as stated, that probably turned out to be a good thing as subsequent kits ordered (different supplier) that did have patterns stamped were fraught with errors. Picture is of partially completed rug so that you can see what you are getting. Absolutely gorgeous, now that it is complete. All that is left is to bind it and hang it. Other kits I've found of this size were significantly more expensive and not nearly as attractive. My only criticism (suggestion) is to not worry about tossing yarn if it is "too long" (many pieces are) and there is more than enough. However, I didn't know this so ended up doing quite a bit of trim work on the finished product.

This is a nice Latch Hook Kit, I ordered it to hang on my wall. It was as described and I got it quickly. I wouldn't advise this product for younger children, as it takes a little to figure out. You will definitely need to go by the color chart that is included. Also on the product itself, the colors don't match up exactly. Like for instance, where the brown goes is colored pink. Be sure to follow the picture sheet. Also Mark as you go, this will help. Other than that, it's a thumbs up from me. It will be beautiful once done.

goods: the design is beautiful and with 15 colors you get a nifty image. The yarn quality is always going to be mixed with some pieces too thin or too thick and some that just unravel, but overall it wasn't unworkable. bad: for the first time for me with WonderArt, the design map came color coded, with not just a symbol but the actual color on the map. While this was visually helpful for the most part, some colors are just indistinguishable to the naked eye and made it a hassle to figure out if I should be taking a black vs mahogany vs dark green as the legend looked the same for all these. Secondly the grid itself wasn't as thick and hardy as I would want it to be. I've read a lot of complaints about the grid itself not being color coordinated, and I don't understand the issue with this. Who follows the grid anyways? As long as the map itself is marked up, that's what you're going off, so this wasn't an issue.

This kit is terrible! There isn’t a pattern to follow at all. There are only blue printed squares. What are they for? And there isn’t any paper instruction what so ever either. This is just awful. The only nice thing about this kit is there is plenty of pretty yarn. What am I suppose to do with that? Use my imagination or the picture on the box! What would I need a pattern for if I could just look at the picture and know where to place the colors! I wanted to get started on this, to have it done by “Thanksgiving Day, 2021”. Naturally that idea has been ruined. I don’t have money to waste. Therefore I will never buy WONDERART again.

This was my very first latch hook kit that I have ever done. It did not come with the actual latch hook itself I had to buy that which was kind of a disappointment. The kit itself only took me a few months to complete.. I would of liked to see one that came with the yarn to put a border around the finished product. But I had yarn left over from another project that I used & I am putting a border on this myself. I have gotten a lot of complements on this latch hook kit plus it was very relaxing to sit in the evenings & work on this kit. Now I have to find another one to do!

I didn’t realize there was no print or design on it likes years ago. There are just boxes. But I am doing this and following the instruction pattern and it is coming out great.

As noted by others, the canvas is blank except for some blue lines. It is not color-coded. I do a lot of needlepoint and have experience with following color legends, so I may be able to work this kit, but it is unnecessarily very complicated especially for this design. Also, remember you need to purchase a latch-hook tool separately. I remember the latch-hook kits many years ago and they were simple and color-coded....
