Bought this for my brother and wanted to keep it.

What a special gift to give the guy (or maybe woman) something unique that can be personalized. Easy to order and you have choices in fonts. Got mine for hubby and he got a kick out of it. Not something to carry around in your pocket, because of the weight, not to mention it might set of metal detectors and then you could have some explaining to do. Looks nice on a desk and it isn't something someone would probably walk off with.

Pen arrived defective and not usable. It only works as a paperweight. I twisted the end to extend the pen point, tried to write with it, but within two seconds the pen point disappeared within the pen, never to come out again, like a terminally scared turtle! The twist-to-extend does not work. There is also no way to open the pen to insert a refill cartridge when the cartridge that came with it is defective. Also, the personalized text on the pen was so faint that it's hard to read, not like the picture (I used font Times New Roman, but still, the preview made it appear that the text would be much easier to read). I requested a return two days ago, but haven't heard a word from the company yet! Maybe it's the holiday rush, but it's been nearly 48 hours with no reply. UPDATE 1/11/2018: I returned the defective pen three weeks ago, but haven't received any refund, and haven't even received an acknowledgment of my return. I had to pay return shipping myself, so now I'm out not only the cost of the defective pen, but also the return shipping costs! BUYER BEWARE!

This was a birthday gift for a Family member. I haven't seen it because it was sent directly to him. He loves this pen! He's a nurse, and they're always losing their pens, but this is unmistakably HIS PEN! The monograming is well done, too. Unique and practical gift that always sparks comments.

My husband is former military and an avid hunter. He works in an office all day, and this pen was a big hit with him! He says it works beautifully, and he just enjoys using it.
