It took a while to find a soft food that my cats like, but figured I would try this when the vet said that our bigger boy needed to lose a few pounds. Thankfully both of my cats love this food. They especially love when I mix a churu in with it to give them some extra hydration.

I purchased this case in early July. By the time I got to the end of the case I found 2 damage to cans. They were dented and damaged enough to compromise the pop top seal. The cans were filled with mold and bacteria all through the food. I secured them in plastic and disposed of them. Please do not sell damaged cans. This is dangerous

I have a male cat (Jake) who is overweight and I have a female (Delilah) who has a sensitive stomach. I have not been able to get Jake to lose weight in forever! I have tried other brands, and they helped maintain his weight but not lose. My male cat needs to lose a total of two lbs. minimum. Within about 6 months on this food, he has lost almost a full pound!! I do feed them less then the recommend, because they would never finish the recommended in a sitting. Jake is a little picky with his food, but he loves this food! I tried a more expensive brand before this, but he would pick at it. Delilah started to develop a sensitive stomach towards some foods. She does a lot better with the lite option, and she has not been sick anymore. She also enjoys eating this food, and she has been maintaining her normal heavy weight. I will continue to order this!

Our cats have been on this food most of their lives. Overweight cats are not healthy cats. Having a daughter in the vet business is what led us to this choice. We have been very happy with it up until the last couple of months. Recently the price of a case went up more than 25%! And if that wasn't bad enough, what was once a food that was clearly moist, but kept its shape, has become sloppy and dreary. It is like spooning mush - very wet mush - out of a can. Our cats still eat it. Our female cat, with a more sensitive stomach, has started vomiting it up more frequently. We find if we feed her less at a serving she can keep it down - but then she shouldn't be on weight control food! And she is the cat that nags - so less food per serving means more persistent nagging (and she's quite creative in her methods of gaining attention). Our male cat is a pickier eater but he seems ok with the consistency. But at one meal we melt his medications into a bit of water & stir this into his food, making this sloppy food even more sloppy. Only upside is that they are likely to be getting more fliluids. But you are paying for them at a premium. May check to see what my other options are.

I have had animals, large and small, all my life, more cats than I can count. I usually only feed kibble, and recommend kibble, however this is what I fed to a sick kitty. Science diet yields wonderful results when fed correctly. I will always use it unless directed otherwise by my vet. (which has never happened .) Despite the idea the first ingredient must be “meat” or “meat-by-products,” grain free products yielded no better results, especially in my dogs likely because they need some carbs. Essential amino acids (taurine, etc) cats can only get from meat are included in science diet (and any other balanced cat feed). It is a properly formulated, balanced nutritional feed that works very well in my experience. (Look for fixed formulas over variable when ever choosing pet feed)

The can is mislabeled "minced", its pate. My cat won't eat pate. Now I can't return it because I opened a can. Just wasted $65

Cats absolutely love this flavor. Unfortunately it's out of stock very often. Love to be able to purchase it by the case

Cat was excited the first time, but gradually lost enthusiasm. She slept as if she were sick after meals. Her poo was hard and dark. Her mouth smell bad. I only gave 1/3 of can. Not sure if we should continue on this product . Will give it a more time to try. Hope we don't need to visit vet. After careful observation for week, I realized that the key to success is to buy good covers so to keep food fresh and moist in fridge. This product dry quickly and not suitable to leave outside for too long. Cat loves it eventually.
