I built an air gun to shoot a projectile into a tree in order to string up my amateur radio antenna. I has to use a Schrader Valve to pressurize it. This fit the bill very well. It is a very robust little product.

This quality kit has everything needed to rebuild the top end of an air tank, it even includes the tire chuck & hose! Upon installation my old air tank functions almost good as new! No more leaks, sticking schrader valve, or tire chuck! Easy to install & highly recommend!

These came in a pair. I was going to use them to pressurize the tank for my home-built ham radio antenna tennis ball launcher. Others use Schrader valves when building bait launchers. Addendum. After reviewing the literature and You Tube videos, one valve I was able to get to function by rotating the internal rectangle through which the center tip that you depress to release air runs through. You have to use a a hairpin or end of a paper clip. It is also why you need to keep an end cap on all valves to keep the dirt out. The rectangle on other valve kept spinning with no end point, and thus the valve was useless. Both valves failed to hold any pressure! Leaked out compketely in 30 seconds, even at 20-30 psi on first inflation. Was going to demonstrate the leak with the soapy water on video, but the egress was so fast I couldn't arrange the video in time. If I kept my finger pressed on the valve, I could stop the leak long enough to launch the tennis ball. But for any situation that requires holding even minimal sustained pressure, forget it.

I used it as part of an adapter I made to inflated air suspension using a portable tire inflator. Works great in my application.

I liked the all metal construction and was perfect for making an adaptor for my air hose when I only need to use my hand pump. The 1/4” NPT directly fits into a female air hose quick disconnect without having to use more adaptors. I used this adaptor with my long coil hose compressed as an air supply for my smoke generator for vacuum leak detection. Useful for those applications that don’t require high-pressure, and not worth the bother or hassle to use your compressor.

Would have liked to purchase an individual piece but could only find 2 pks. Bonus thread type is a nice touch
