Clarity in the image formed.
I bought it for school lab work. The regular glass mirrors tend to break every time they fall and can be a bit risky when the children are involved. The size is good for performing the experiments.

Very poor quality. Almost opaque and not at all reflective
Save your money and do not buy. The pieces are cracked and when they are not cracked they are so full of scuff marks and scratches that they are not at all reflective. Waste of money.
