The right tool makes all the difference.
The right tool makes all the difference! My wife is a quilter. She has at least two dozen or more types of scissors and several rotary cutters. She ordered a Madam Sew rotary cutter for Christmas and loved it. The gleam in her eye when she saw this cordless electric scissor unit inspired me to surprise her with one. She has only had it for about a week now and already sings it’s praises. She still uses her many different scissors (I don’t quite understand why she has so many) and her rotary cutters. But when it comes to those long cuts or the tedious cutting up of denim jeans destined for another quilt, she now grabs this electric scissor unit and wonders why she didn’t buy one of these years ago. She has a bit of arthritis in her hands and they ache after her long days working on custom quilts. These scissors make it so simple and easy for her to do long cuts (see photo of her cutting excess quilt backing off with just the simple push of a button rather than repeatedly squeezing scissor blades together for each 5” cut—genius). This scissor unit now sits on her cutting table right next to her other cutting tools so she can quickly grab the right tool when needed. This was not only a win for her, but also a win for me with perfect surprise gift. The right tool does make a difference. P.S. Quality is excellent, solidly built, fits her hand well and has a lithium battery with the initial charge still going strong after this first week.

Sharp, heavy duty, long-lasting, and it will cut through thick cardboard like butter.
The BEST electric scissor on the market. I have purchased 3 other brands of electric scissors at they didn't cut anywhere near as well as the Madam scissors. And the other 3 scissors didn't last very long and we are still using the Madam Sew scissors all day long for almost 1 year. We cut a lot of thick cardboard to make boxes, and these scissors cut the thickest cardboard like it is butter. A great scissor for anyone needing a heavy duty, sharp, and long lasting electric scissor that will cut through thick tough material.

Excellent
So very pleased with these scissors. I had a project with canvas and knew I would exhaust my hand cutting. These likely shaved an hour off the completion of the item. Blown away at how well they work. Yes, you can hear them run. No, it isn't bothersome. It's not like you will run them nonstop for a half an hour. Would highly recommend.

Buy these scissors.
Theses scissors are awesome. They are cordless, so the cord doesn’t interfere with your cutting. They charge rapidly and hold the charge for many projects. You can purchase replacements for the blade, if you hit a few pins and nick the blades.

Absolutely Effortless Cutting But Loud
I needed this to improve productivity for my handmade business. It’s great. It cuts through the thick parts of denim with ease and it’s great on my curvy shapes. I’m considering purchasing a second one so my daughters to use when they help me cut my patterns. The only drawback is the noise. It’s almost as loud as my power drill. It still cuts well though.

Cutting Fabric like a Breeze
These electric scissors cuts through material with ease and does not leave the material ragged. The cut follows where you lead with an even cut. They make cutting material a quick task.

I would like to know when and how i get get a replacement blade head for the product. There is no info on the site about this and no way for me to contact the company. My son loves this product and says it cuts extremely well, and wishes he had known about these sooner. It has cut is work time in half.

Love this rechargable cutting tool! The curved upper blade keeps the blade above the fabric layer. It cuts beautifully and goes through multiple layers with ease. It will vibrate your table, so expect some noise, but it sure eases the wear and tear on your hands when cutting volumes of fabrics.

Great fabric scissors. Much easier to use the regular scissors!

These are speeding up my sewing process big time and as an impatient person it's a huge help. They do work quickly, but you can control the speed with how fast you move through the fabric. I can even use these on pretty deep curves if I slow down a bit. I do suggest practicing a bit. I trace my pattern pieces, remove them from the fabric and then just zoom along the lines. I am using them to cut 2 layers of cotton with a layer of Annie's soft and stable and I'm pretty sure I could do that X2 and these would have no problem getting through.
