Spikenard Anointing Prayer Oil in Reusable Blue Cobalt Glass Vial 0.24fl.oz/7ml

So pretty and unique. Great little glass bottle/container to hold my annointing oil. The cobalt blue color and design is stunning! Easily fits in my purse to take with me everywhere. It is very small, about the size of an adult thumb, but just the right size to carry. I bought an eye dropper to refill it as needed. Looks like it's meant to hold something precious... and indeed it is for me... I love it!

This is a blue glass and white metal vial of spikenard, an ancient essential oil also known as nard. It is from the nard plant, found only in the Himalayan mountains and considered to be endangered in some areas of its native range. It has a unique and pleasant aroma, was used as a medicine and for religious purposes in the past and was a highly sought after commodity. I’m uncertain of the traditional attributions of blue glass, but the vial is eye-catching and artistic in its design.

I never heard of Spikenard before I started watching "The Chosen" and Mary washed Jesus' feet with it. It is wonderful perfume. It is supposed to bring a sense of tranquility and peace. I don't know about that, but I love the scent. I put it on my pillow at bedtime. Beautiful little bottle. When it's empty, I'll attach a silver string and it will become a lovely Christmas ornament.

The scented oil holder is about the size of your thumb but it is indeed beautifully done with silver and blue cobalt bottle. A wonderful place to keep your perfume and or blessed anointing oil. It looks and feels like a product triple the cost. I am completely satisfied with my purchase.
