great strainers
this is my second set that I buy. they fit perfect in the kitchen sink. easy to clean and a lot cheaper than the plumber with kids that are not careful of what they put in the sink. I bought another set because over time they look worn off and I want them to look nice and shiny, otherwise they didn't need to be replaced. I'm just picky. great buy

Basket Strainer that Gets the Job Done!
I have been using this basket strainer set in my double basin stainless steel sink for a few months. I was concerned that other reviewers mentioned a rusting issue and that the basket is too shallow. I have had no issue with rust, and in my opinion the basket is plenty deep for everyday use. I also like the size of the holes which filter out most of the crud, but are large enough that the sink still drains well. It does not let anything through larger then spent coffee grounds. I would recommend this product based on solid construction, ease of use and durability.

Works Great Short of Glue - Lol!
This is a really great little drain cover! Our garbage disposal quit working awhile ago and we were plunging the sink out for months before we finally got the disposal working again. Despite that, it would still be nice to have something to catch the particles trying to go down the drain. Does it stay in place - no, not always. Short of glueing it down, it's not going to stay put. The trick is to run enough water to go over the lip of the drain so the water lifts the tiny particles into the catcher. Otherwise, yes, the little tiny particles are going to slip down underneath and go directly down your main drain. When you want to rinse off your fingertips for like 5 seconds, 10 times a day, no, you aren't going to catch everything. But it catches the big pieces, looks nice and shiny after almost 3 weeks of use and most surprisingly, the particles come out very easily with a tissue when it's time to clean it out.Cheap enough to give it a try and you get 2 for the price. Completely worth the money and saving yourself a future plumbing bill. Two thumbs up!

Best sink strainer EVER!!
I bought one of those screen-type strainers, assuming I’d regret it.. and was right. It was so flimsy it wouldn't lay down flat, and caused an even bigger pain in trying to keep a clean sink. My life fell into chaos. I searched the world over in search of a strainer that actually worked. Finally i was able to bribe a sherpa to take me to a fabled guru who lived in a remote cave deep in the Himalayas who reportedly had found a decent sink strainer. After months of meditation, rituals and cold-weather conditioning, i won his trust and he shared his strainer experience. And it’s PERFECT. Sits snug and flat in the drain recess, picks up easily and cleans out with a simple upside-down tap! So while all told my strainer cost me over $85,000 in travel, supplies, lost wages and medical expenses, you can attain strainer nirvana for the measly, enlightening price of about 7 bucks. Do it!! Do it now!!!

Perfect fit!
The media could not be loaded. This is better than the mesh like material. My sink looks tidy now. Hopefully this won't rust as it says stainless steel.
