Women's Anti-theft Tailored Convertible Crossbody Clutch

This is my favorite purse for travel. Compact with loads of functionality. No need for a wallet and holds the essentials. Easy to wear under a coat or stuff into your bag/backpack if you have a stickler when boarding the plane. Love LOVE it. Even fits an EpiPen and two iPhones (personal and work) though it starts to get pretty tight at that point.

I'm more than pleased with the quality, smaller size, features, and appearance of this crossbody travel purse. While it has theft prevention travel features (slash resistant, locking strap attachments, secured zipper pulls) which aren't so important where I live, it looks good enough to use anywhere. The fabric is silky smooth and beautiful and water beads up and rolls off of it. The hangtag states the bag is not washable nor should it be submerged, as that would damage the RFID protection. Most things should just wipe off with a damp cloth. I love the light, striped interior which makes it easy to see what's inside. It's plenty big enough for the essentials I usually carry-- phone, keys (at home), passport (for travel), small flat wallet, tissues, chapstick, lipstick, hand sanitizer, bandaid, eye drops, mints or gum, pen, small notepad, sunglasses, nail file, or a few more small items. There is an RFID protected passport pocket and three roomy RFID card pockets, plus an inside zippered pocket for valuables, so the wallet could be omitted. There is an attached interior key fob to which I can attach my flat wallet's small D-ring, and it has a small helpful LED light. There is also a flat outside zipper pocket on one side and a deep, roomy open pocket on the other side which is good for sunglasses and/or non-valuables like hand sanitizer, etc. This is a well designed purse that holds a lot for its small size. I also like that the only name or logo is on the zipper pulls, not a large billboard advertisement on the body of the purse. The crossbody or shoulder strap detaches so the purse can be used as a clutch or as a wristlet with the included wristlet strap attached. The safest way to carry it is crossbody. The crossbody strap adjusts with no annoying loose end, and it attaches with clips that have a simple locking function. Both outside zipper pulls attach to D-rings below them, although they don't lock. Being attached with the clips would likely help deter pickpockets. Please note that the crossbody and wristlet straps attach to the D-rings just inside the top of the open slip pocket. The complaints about the purse flipping over are because the strap was incorrectly attached to the lower side rings meant to secure the zipper pulls, not the correct rings for attaching the strap. My purse arrived with the removable wristlet strap attached to one of the correct rings in the outer slip pocket. I first ordered this purse in the Sapphire color, which is a very dark navy with gold hardware. I wanted something with a bit more color so I then ordered the Peacock purse, which has gunmetal hardware. I decided to keep the Peacock/gunmetal purse. Both are dark blue but the Peacock has a bit of color pop in the right light, a dark teal blue. The navy would be a more neutral color of course. It almost appears black in some light. See photos, which were taken under bright incandescent lights which makes both of the colors look brighter than they appear under most light. Sapphire on left, Peacock on right. I also included one showing the correct strap and zipper pull attachments on the Sapphire purse. The last one (or maybe the first one, if amazon flips the order) compares the size to my peach 1-liter Lululemon crossbody. The Travelon looks slightly larger, but the LL is slightly bigger front to back, but not by much. The Lululemon also opens much wider than the Travelon, so wide that things fall out if I'm not careful. Including the Travelon's deep outside open pocket, they probably hold a comparable amount. As luck would have it, the price of the Peacock purse decreased by $10 the day after i received mine, but mine is such good quality, and has the gunmetal hardware, that I don't want to risk returning it and ordering another to save $10. (A couple of photos in other reviews appear to be much poorer quality, maybe knock-offs?) The quality of both of the ones I received appears to be excellent, and a good value especially considering the anti-theft features. I recommend this purse for anyone who likes a small tailored purse or who needs theft-deterrent features. Travelon also makes larger travel purses with similar features.

This little bag will perfectly fill the bill for a nice looking compact bag for a few dressier evenings on a trip to Japan. I love that the straps and side panels are slash proof, the zippers can be secured with carabiner type latches that hook to rings on the closed side of the zipper and that the inside lining pockets are RFD protected. Two straps are included, a short wrist strap (though that seems to defeat the purpose of all the security features) and a longer strap that can be adjusted for cross body or as a shoulder strap. The total length of the long strap is 54”, easily shortened to a good length for me (I’m 5ft tall) or a much taller person. The strap is 3/4” wide so more substantial than a skinny strap and doesn’t cut into your shoulder. Out of the box the strap was pretty stiff but it was delivered on a very cold day so I am hoping it will soften and get over it’s stubborn bends. There is a snap pocket across the whole width and depth of the back. Inside, the magenta lining has an open passport size pocket, 3 RFD card slots on one side and a zippered pocket on the other side. The front of the bag has a wide lockable zippered pocket. One reviewer said the straps attach to loops at the half way point down the side but those are actually the zipper lock rings. The strap rings are just inside the back snap pocket near the top of the bag so the bag will not tip as the reviewer cautioned if the strap is attached to the intended rings. The bag is 9” wide, 6” tall and 1 1/2” wide at the bottom - perfect size for your travel evenings when you are done with photography, tour guide books and shopping and just looking forward to an elegant dinner. What a nice little bag! I’m very pleased with it.

Had some loose strings, but not a deal breaker. Built quality is decent. It did have a slight odor, but stuffed some dryer sheets in it and the faint chemical smell disappeared within an hour. Like that it can be used as purse if adjustable strap are loosened, but for my purpose I wanted the option for a cross body sling that held close to my body for an upcoming trip to Europe. It’s not too big but not too small. Has nice organization on the inside. It can hold basics like, iPhone 15 with slim case ( horizontally only), cards, passport, chapstick, small nasal tissue, hand sanitizer on key ring. If you over stuff it will be challenging to get things in and out of the bag, but the bag still maintains slimness when items are in the bag. The locks for the clasps took some getting used to but the more I used the more confident i became with the security of this bag. I like that I can use as a daily use bag and the security features don’t scream travel bag. I do think it’s a little over priced for the quality received, but for the versatility, functionality, and secure peace of mind I think the price is justified.

I really like this little bag. Did I need it? Nope. But it's just the right size for slinging cross-body when you're out and about/traveling and just want the smallest little bag for the essentials. Like all Travelon bags, it has some great theft-deterrent features, so you can feel safer if you're in a crowded area. It is tiny, but has room for your phone, built-in credit card and cash pockets, plus tissues, lip balm, keys – the basics. I like the mushroomy color (can't remember the actual name of it): great for spring. Given that it's so lightweight, I think I can stash it in my suitcase and switch out when I just want something small to carry.

This bag's anti-theft features prevented me from being a victim of theft while holidaying in Bangkok. While in a shopping mall, I noticed two man tailing my friend and me. Then, one of them walked towards me and I could feel his hand brush across my side touching my bag. After that, I could hear him muttering something to his accomplice. Although I find that this bag is a little too small, it fits all the necessities e.g. passport, small wallet, keys, tissue, lip balm etc. Am glad that I bought this.

Great wee holiday bag, small & compact, bought the larger one last year and equally happy with it. Love how belongings feel safe and secure from pickpockets. Highly recommend
