Let me start off by saying i wanted to wait for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, but due to a deal Amazon offered i went to give this a shot.ARTIST Review-The tablet is perfect size for any artist that likes the size of standard computer paper. The Spen is super smooth especially with apps like Clip Studio and Krita. Clip Studio is my go to as a graphic artist, I actually love the illustration aspects of it. So this is where it gets interesting. The Spen is very fluid and smooth on clip studio and even with the 8GB RAM it works amazing. The quality of the pictures are very sharp and has the battery lasts a decent amount of time for art itself.ClipStudio functionality- Clip Studio has an integrated function and you can get 6 months free from the galaxy store. The functionality is if you have a samsung smartphone (I have an S22 Ultra) The clip studio will give a QR code where you scan it and it'll put all the tools on clip studio on your mobile device so you can use the full canvas of the tablet to draw. JUST REMEMBER TO ENABLE MULTIPLE SPENS IN THE SPEN SETTINGS ON YOUR PHONE!!! It was a feature that really was confusing and i couldn't find any videos to explain it to me.REGULAR TAB REVIEW-For you regular, non artist people... well the video quality is amazing. The sound is beyond anything i've heard from the iPads, and i do have an iPad for procreate. I've noticed while apple has some benefits to their tablet, the Samsung Galaxy S8 plus has more features, ecosystem functionality and benefits that i would use more. Not to mention you can use the tablet as a 2nd monitor for a windows pc. It works with Xbox gamepass cloud gaming very well. So for everything you get for the product it features a lot especially if you're a student and looking for a tablet/laptop hybrid you can add the keyboard to it and it'll go to DEX mode which gives you a desktop experience.Key point is everything now syncs with my phone and tablet from text messages to video calls, ear buds switching and it's become my main tablet for everything. Although the iPad tends to have a bit better battery life this one definitely outperforms the iPad in many of it's features and hopefully more artistic apps of better quality will come out but for now ClipStudio is the best one i have used.
