Recommend for cricket fans
This is highly entertaining throughout. Packed with funny stories and sporting insight by a thoroughly likeable and down to earth bloke. Perfect summer reading I'd say.

Bonzer
Excellent read. Honest and funny and with enough self awareness and self deprication to believe as an honest account. Groundwork for BazBall is written throughout.

Easy to read
A half decent autobiography but it just seems to be going over the same ground all the time. Seems to be a lack of ancedotes and talks more about other acbievements rather than his own.

Bright and Breezy
A entertaining read with lots of anecdotes and a few well informed opinions. His style is easy to read and he has shown on TV that he has the makings of becoming one of the very best pundits. I'm not sure his writing is at that level yet but this is not bad for a first attempt.

Excellent
I always thought Rob had been a fine county player, and a very good Test match cricketer, who would have gone on to have many more caps than he ended up with. Many inferior players (in my opinion), were given the nod ahead of him. This excellent book reveals a huge insight into the behind the scenes dynamics within a dressing room Rob's thoughts, and strong views on team building exercises are both very funny, and thought provoking. The chapter on his experiences in the Australian Academy is very revealing, and he illuminates the differences in an Australian winning mentality, compared to ours. He casts an eye over colleagues in both forms of the game, and admits that the art of a good captain, is not for everyone to like one another, and be best pals, but rather for the players to adopt a selfish, winning mentality and the captain to get them working together. His insight into the mindset of Kevin Pietersen, is especially shrewd, and totally believable. His knowledge and views on cricket have now been transferred to the media, and I enjoy listening to his commentary and views. I hope he swiftly recovers from his recent illness, and is back on our screens soon.I have read many cricket books, but none better than this one. I read it in 2 sittings!

Key Learning
I'd seen Rob Key commentate on Sky Sports and always thought he came across really well. I got this to find out more about him and was not disappointed. He gives an honest and thorough account of his career and his thoughts on the characters he's met. Not only this but he also provides great thoughts and insights on the modern approach to the game and coaching methods used. It really was refreshing to read.
