Citra HBC 394 Hop Pellets 1 lb (2022B)

I put about 3/4" of pellets into a tea infuser and dunk it into quart jar full of boiling water and cover it. The next morning I pour off about 1/2 cup and add that much more boiling water through the infuser. I use the resulting tea to spike my IPA beer as well as my drinking water. Another portion goes into the kombucha batch. One pound of pellets makes sufficient concentrated tea to go a long, long, far way. Break it down into quarters and keep away from oxygen.

Very Fresh and Great quality

My package was red and the name was Yakima Chief Hops. Maybe that's what YCH stands for but there is some misrepresentation here. Maybe it was older packaging because the pellets seemed more moist than other pellets we bought at the shop.

Super relaxing. Perfect for calming adrenal flow. Tastes and smells like beer. We add a pinch to tea to mellow out.

Hops give good taste

I've used Citra hops in many beers and Citra hops reputation is well deserved. I'm going to use the Citra hops in an amber ale. Yakima chief hops are excellent.
