Soft, easy to use. I usually make my own fondant but black is a pain to color. This product arrived quickly and was perfect.

I really love this product. Unfortunately, it's getting too expensive to purchase. 😔

Great product worked easily for me for decorating my cake. It's hard to get black from food coloring so this was perfect just make sure that you wash your hands and the surface well if you are using another lighter color or the black will swirl in the lighter color.

I typically make my own fondant to cut down on costs but nothing beats the taste, texture & overall workability of Satin Ice. I especially love the black and red Satin Ice because it can be difficult and time consuming to reach that level of color saturation at home.

Perfectly black, and it rolled and shaped very easily. Will not try black from scratch again.

I really wanted to like it since the company is in my neighborhood and I was happy to support a local business. Being gluten free for 6 years now, I've had my share of culinary gf catastrophes. The fondant is very hard initially. Honestly, sprinkling the countertop with starch/flour didn't help at all, everything was sticking. I had to work in batches to make a sheet big enough to cover my sons b-day cake. Then it starts melting if you take too long, but it's really impossible to do it quickly cause it's so hard to work. Also, this fondant being black calls for trouble and color running. Yes, my cake had black running lines inside. I don't know what happened but I won't use it again.

Great tasting stuff. Much, much better than Wilton or Cake Boss fondant. Easy to work with.
