Michael Kors Bedford TZ Pocket Tote

This is Tim's wife we share an account. I am 57 years old and have been in search of the PERFECT handbag for most of my life. I think this is it. First of all I don't know why more people don't make pockets on the outside of handbags in these days of cell phones. Who wants to dig inside their bag for a cell phone? I loved that this had four outside pockets. The inside pockets are nice and deep. And I almost didn't buy it because I really wanted a handbag with a strap inside that would hold my keys. Lo and behold this one has it ! It's a tad smaller than I expected but it fits everything so what could be better than a bag that's not huge and still fits everything you need. Another reason I almost didn't buy it is that I thought the label on the front was stamped on the leather. It is not. They are raised gold letters and look very classy. I wasn't crazy about the fact that the straps we're not the same color as the bag but it actually doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would. My only suggestion to Michael Kors would be to make at least one bag with the same color handles. Having said that it's wonderful that the straps can be shortened or lengthened. All in all I think I'm going to absolutely adore this handbag. And I also appreciate the reasonable price from Amazon. And for those who are questioning whether it was authentic-- it most definitely is. You can tell by the wrapping.

The handbag is the perfect size for me. Not too big or small. The leather is soft and comfortable to carry. I lowered the hand straps and it is long enough to to go under your arm easily. The four pockets make it convenient for keys, phone, and notes. The zipper is a little hard to close because it is about two inches inside the leather. The purse is prettier without a large zipper showing on the top. Pockets and small zip pocket inside purse for good organizing. Color is a soft black, not overly shiny. The light beige straps add a little pizzaz !! Hope they don't show dirt too quickly.

I really like the style of this tote, the pebbled leather and the 4 side pockets, however it is a bit smaller than what the measurements state, which is the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I was expecting a larger tote. It is only 11 1/2 inches across the bottom and 14 across the top. It is 9 1/2 inches tall. Another small disappointment is that the zipper is down inside about 1 1/2 inches, meaning it is just underneath the grommets, instead of across the top, which also reduces the interior space. It is an authentic Michael Kors and arrived very quickly, so I am very pleased about that.

It's funny that they set this review up like a shoe review and asked for fit and how long it can be worn comfortably, support etc, but that's OK for this particular purchase. I bought this bag for my dear sweet mother for Xmas and she was ecstatic! The size is perfect for an every day bag and she said it has the perfect amount of compartments for her. She hasn't lost her keys since, which is saying a lot about my mom. I got to see the bag in person and I agree that it's a great size. Its also comfortable to handle and well made. Pretty lil' thing, this bag is. I usually pick up my bags at thrift stores cause I'm cheap, so buying this bag gave me anxiety but I am happy to report that I feel like I made a solid investment for my mother's oh so fashionable wardrobe and if the handle were black I would be tempted to buy it for myself.. maybe.

I have been eyeballing this purse for a long time. I had a MK Jet Set Tote with one outside pocket that I have adored and has held up very well. I always felt like at least one more outside picket and a zipper top would make it perfect.The Bedford Tote may just be perfect for me. It is a bit smaller than my other totes, which is perfect. It is also a little stiffer which allows it to stand up better. I do agree with others that the straps may be a little short, but after I moved each buckle to the last hole, it seems to be just fine.The inner pockets are great, they are set a little lower in the bag due to the zipper, but that works well. Nice touch with the key clip as well. I have had a lanyard attached to the strap of my tote for this exact purpose. The purse stands up very well also which is a plus.Hopefully this bag will hold up as well or better than my Jet Set which I will keep and use when I want a somewhat larger tote.

I absolutely love this handbag. I now own three different colors/fabrics and will use this style Bedford tote exclusively in every season.The leather is top quality, soft and supple; the size is perfect, not too small, yet not large and clunky.The outside pockets are perfect for papers, brochures and the oversized cell phones we see nowadays. Inside are smaller pockets. One zip pocket and a leather strap with hardware to lock your keys in place for quick retrieval.For the price, I would highly recommend this tote if you love designer bags but don't want to spend $200+.

I wish this was just a little larger, but other than that it is the perfect purse. I didn't want the zippered pocket on the interior because when you put items in the pocket it causes the purse to sit wrong. This is open in the center and allows my wallet and makeup bag to sit perfectly. I wanted pockets on the outside for keys and cell phone and this has 4 pockets. There are interior pockets on the purse interior sides. I was concerned that the drop of the handles wasn't enough but then I realized there was another hole to move the buckles and make them longer. Absolutely great purse! I may buy more so that I'll have another one if/when this wears out.
