Huge nostalgia factor here. I love Beauty and the Beast. This is the first Beauty and the Beast I remember reading. Beyond that the pictures are stunning, the writing lovely. The only other illustrated Beauty and the Beasts that come close to this for me are Jan Brett's version and Kinuko Kraft's.

An absolutely gorgeous book! I have several versions of Beauty and the Beast but this one is worth collecting for the artwork. A great addition to my library.
