An enlightening view into the life work of a remarkable lady who has served not only her community, but her city as well.As a child growing up in this city, I recall the struggles of diversity and equality that I witnessed. My applause and admiration go out to this lady for her strength and resilience to make a difference. Her service and contributions to bring change and awareness for women and minorities, is inspiring.

So grateful Ms. Mamie Hughes took the time to share her story! One gets insight into Kansas City, into racial relations, and into a life of service.
