Delta Children Emerson Upholstered Glider Swivel Rocker Chair, Dove Grey with Soft Grey Welt

I love my new chair. I bought it for the office. I spend a lot of time in the office, and therefore I was looking for something small as well as comfortable which rock and glide. The chair is extremely comfortable. The cushion is thick and you need that when you’re sitting in a chair for a long period of time. The fabric is soft. I picked the light gray secondary to needing the light background for video screening. The craftsman shift, the wood under underneath was real wood. There was a minimum assembly two screws and less than a half an hour. It was put together and I’m happy. It rocks and swivel no creeks no loud noises. I think I like one of these for my bedroom.

My pregnant wife confirms, great back support. Very comfortable chair. Easy to assemble. Though the box is huge and weighs a lot, since it comes disassembled, it was very easy to get it into the house. I just opened the box outside, and carried individual pieces into the house. The base was a bit heavier and bulky and a little wonky to carry alone, but it can be done by a strong person. Packing was excellent, though the exterior of the box had shipping damage, the chair was undamaged. Just make sure to wash your hands AFTER you unpack the box, and BEFORE you take the plastic off the pieces! Otherwise the dirt from the box gets on your hands and then handprints on chair fabric.

Perfect for my 5’6’’ medium/large size frame. My husband is 5’10’’ and also sits comfortably. We also purchased the ottoman and couldn’t be happier with the look and level of comfort. He was able to assemble in no time. However, it was a tiny bit defective, one of the screws did not go in smoothly. It was pretty much forced because the space for the screw was angled in a weird way. (See pic) Manufacturing defect. Other than that, great purchase!

Great for Nursery!! We have used this chair in my baby’s nursery for over a year now and I love it. We rock him everyday before sleep time, I used it for nursing, and reading books with him... it’s still like new! Great size, not squeaky, and easy to clean. I recommend this to all my mom friends for a cheaper style that is going to last AND be comfortable during those tough teething nights!

Love this chair! Came in perfect condition. Super easy to put together. Looks very expensive and has a nice glide. This one doesn’t recline, but I plan to get an ottoman. Super comfortable

We needed a glider for the living room and found that nursery rockers were the best for our needs. Trying to find a reasonably priced chair was difficult. The chair is okay but I would not use it in a nursery. The arms are not padded very well and you can tell the padding is going to lose any support very quickly. The box the chair was sent in looked like it was a returned item that had been taped together again. It would have been too difficult to return so we're keeping it and hoping it last at least 1-2 years. I would not recommend this product.

I'm able to rock my twin boys to sleep at the same time. Its super comfortable, and the grey fabric is so smooth and velvet, perfect for anyone to use. I'm 5'1" and my mother who is 5'7" has no problem fitting and reclining her head in it either. I did A LOT of research and sat in many many chairs at stores, this chair beats them by price and comfort. The only con that I noticed over time is a bit of a creek sound by the wood I think, but its nothing unbearable. My husband assembled it in 30 mins, easy instructions. I paired it with the ottoman, I'm glad I did because it helped to rest my legs in the middle of the night.

Comfortable, nice chair, more upright good for nursing but BEWARE: As many other have mentioned in reviews, the seat back does not fit into the seat base as it comes. This is clearly a manufacturing error how the brackets are positioned. One can fix this with a elaborate hack I did if you already bought (see below). Otherwise, I strongly suggest getting a more reliable chair. HACK: The back brackets will fit into the base brackets, but not where currently located. What I did was 1.) Take off 1 of the brackets of the BASE by unscrewing it. 2.) Slide it on one of the BACK brackets still connected and screw that bracket to secure it (note: you will have to drill a small hole in the back to do this and can use 1 of screws then you took out, but I suggest a smaller one if you have one. There is a hole in bracket to accommodate) 3.) Now proceed per usual attempting to slide bracket to bracket of other side while wedging other side in. This is challenging but possible. 4.) The back will still be askew to base slightly so take a rubber mallet and pound where connects to align. 5.) Proceed per usual with 2 screws in bottom to secure.
