I had to remove about 2" of granite counter-top to make a new stove fit in my kitchen at home. After stupidly trying to use the less durable all-purpose carbon angle grinder disks (look out for flying shards and bits of carbon), I finally got smart, and bought this product. I know the phrase is overused, but it cut through that granite like a hot knife through butter. What also amazed me was how much control I had, and how precise I could make the cuts. Also, when I was done, the new edge was almost polished already. What a pleasure!

They are worth the money, a great product.

Cut like a knife through butter. Of course that also depends upon the consistency of the material you are cutting. I only had two cuts through some uniformly speckled granite, so I did not encounter much variation in my granite density. It was easy to "shave" small areas to improve my line. It shows little wear after my use. I expect to be able to make several more cuts in the future with this blade.

Easy to use

Was a little worried as there were a number of 1 and 2 star reviews. I can honestly say this blade is great quality. Not cracked any porcelain tiles (600x600x20). I have cut 12 slabs so far with no issues and the blade has plenty of life, keeping the blade cool with water I suspect plays a major part in this.
