Even with overly aggressive resistor choice the blue LEDs fad out rather fast, other colours including white also suffer.

They seem to work, but I haven't used them all.

I got these LEDs to practice soldering and swap out the ones in several models of Casio watches. They are the same size as the stock ones soldered to the PCBs of most watches as far as I'm aware, and far brighter than some of them. If you're looking to practice swapping lights on electronics these are a good place to start.
