Pierced Owl14-16GA Soft Touch Bioflex Flexible Septum Ring Retainer

I had to take out my metal nose ring for surgery, but I still wanted something in to make sure my piecing didn’t close up, and this did the job. It’s a little weird to put in, but I figured it out

Exactly what I need for MRIs and surgeries. When placed correctly it lightly pinches the septum and stays in place while I'm under anesthesia, and I don't have to worry about inhaling a little plastic ball with crappy threading. Safe, and stayed where I put it.

I've tried a few different rings for my septum and always have issues with comfort especially when I have to flip them up so I decided to try this retainer and it was surprisingly comfortable I definitely suggest it if you have to flip up your piercing for work or other reasons

I never liked taking out my septum piercing cus just getting it was a little traumatizing haha (didn't hurt but felt very uncomfortable) so I didn't like the feeling of removing it, but I needed a retainer for some work-related stuff so I caved. I was always worried if it would be hard and feel Not Great to insert a retainer, but this one is very flexible and went through with no fuss so I am now less afraid of needing to remove my piercing and using the retainer

16GSuper flexible, super light. It fits a little smaller than i thought it would have. It wiggles around than my other retainers. It’s a little to long for my upturned noses. I cut the flares off and it’s perfect now.

Great to replace metal for surgery. It will also flip inside if your septum allows.

I bought this to use for a surgery. This is way too flimsy and floppy for me to get it through and the curved ends made it very difficult to insert. Ended up tossing it in the trash. I've used other retainers just fine that were a stiffer material.

Worked perfect! Was easy to put in and get out. Was very comfortable, barely noticed it while it was in. Loved it!

Do not buy this. I ordered the clear plastic one but instead got a cheap metal ring with a bee on it
