I initially bought this for my long-haired cat, and have since used it on my 100 lb dog and both pets love it. This brush is great for gently combing and removing knots on my cat, he doesn't fight me when I brush him. I recently tried it on my short-coated large dog and it also does great with him and reduces the amount of hair I'm cleaning up.

Wish I hadn't bought it, my cat doesn't like it so I've definitely wasted £20 😪

I like the shape of this brush and the material it is made of. It is easy to hold. I use it to brush my sheepskin rug and Mongolian lamb pillows. It does a great job. I don't use it on my cat, who prefers a brush with softer bristles.

Works great on very curly coats. I have a golden doodle and this brush works wonders on getting stubborn knots out of her fur. It doesn’t seem to cause her any discomfort either! I just wish it was a little easier to clean the fur out but it’s not necessarily hard either! Highly recommend!

I have bought ALOT of dif brushes, even a hair trimmer for my cats! One is 22 years old, and can't seem to groom like he used to, so he forms ALOT of nasty mats in his fur. Previously, we tried brushing them out, but the brushes would get caught on on them and hurt him trying to remove in a tug of war, so we resorted to cutting them out, but that was about a nightmare as well. So I took one more chance and bought this brush. All I can say is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G !! not sure what the difference is, but the mats come out in a few brush strokes, and from what we can tell, kitty is not hurt AT ALL! As a matter of fact, they now fight each other for a turn with the brush! It does not clean the easiest, but for how it performs, I'll make that trade all day long!
