I really like this!1. Because of the way it pinches between the outer plastic cap with holes and the cylider for pouring water - and is not paper - you can pull the plunger up, add more water, and plung again to get a fuller cup of coffee if your coffee mug is large than 6-8oz. If you try that with a paper filter you will have a mess on your hands.2. The mesh is quite fine so I find I need to grind my coffee more coarse than I normally would to make it easier to plung. You may get some coffee silt but it hasn't bothered me.3. Clean up is easy and I still keep a few paper filters in the case just in case but have not needed ro use them yet. I like knowing I don't NEED them.

It’s nice and smooth, well finished, and fits perfectly in the Aeropress. Easy to remove, quick rinse and it’s clean, and it seems easier to ‘press’ than the paper filters. When it’s back in stock, I’ll be getting one for my mam.

I hesitated to buy a re-usable filter, as a previous one had not been as good as paper filters - the holes were too large to produce the same intensity of flavour as paper filters. This product is at least as good as paper filters and arguably gives more flavour. There is a subtle difference, both are good; this has a slightly cleaner fuller taste, but its a matter of personal preference and personal taste buds. I prefer the environmental benefits of having a permanent product, and you avoid the hassle of re-ordering paper filters every few weeks! It also looks really nice - a quality product. Bit expensive, but worth it.

Die Filterscheibe macht was es soll. Mir persönlich ist die superfine Variante aber zu kräftig. Der Kaffee ist vom Geschmack her deutlich stärker als mit den Papierfiltern. Ich hätte für meine Geschmacksbedürfnisse eher die feine Filterscheibe nehmen sollen. Bei der Superfine Scheibe muss man auch deutlich stärker drücken als bei den Papierfiltern. Alles in allem ein super Produkt. Nur halt nicht optimal für meinen Geschmack.
