Can this product be used with enamel paints?

Yes, it can be used with enamel paints. This is the best filler, by far, I have ever used. I got several different colors and, in specific situations am able to mix the different colors to match specific colors of wood! And, drying out is not a problem...just mix in a little water and you're ready to go. Can't go wrong with this product.

Will this match/stain with origininal wood(red oak)?

This does not perfectly match the wood color. It is close enough that you can touch it up with the stain you use to match.

Water or oil base stain prior to filling?

Because this wood filler matches THE WOOD you're using, fill it, sand it and stain it all when it's done. That's the best way to get a good match across any filled voids. I don't think you'll have any issues with either oil or water base finishes.

Will this work on wood turnings ?

Yes, with adequate drying time (overnight)
