This was a gift for a coworker (art teacher) who broke into tears when she saw it. She has told me that she's used it a number of times with no problems and loves the pen. The extra tips is what she loved the most as she could do artwork and writing in different styles with a quick change of the tips. The pen was amazingly cheap for what it is and is a great item. The fact that it is a dip pen is something to note as it is not a traditional fountain pen. Great item for the price, be it a decorative piece or something you will actually use.
