I've used packs like this forever, as a "man bag" (purse), as I don't like stuffing my pockets with all the stuff I like to carry. I used to buy "Western Packs" at the annual county fair, and they'd typically last a couple of years. I can't find them at the fair anymore; when the last one wore out I managed to find a leather replacement that was close to what I'd been using. That finally wore to the point I had to replace it. I searched high and low on Amazon—it's hard to tell exactly what you'd be getting from the description, but I finally settled on a couple to try, and this one is perfect. It's a little smaller than what it's replacing, but once I transferred all the essentials into it I realized I was carrying too much, just because I could. And it *does* hold my Kindle, for the rare times I need to carry it to kill time at the dentist. It has four compartments besides the main one: the large back one for my passport and a cache of large bills, a tiny front one just the right size for my Covid vaccine card, then one for a some pens, and a larger one that holds my two phones (don't ask). All in all, I'm quite pleased. I also like the fact that it has extra belt sections—I don't normally wear it as a waist pack, so I can clip the 'ears' together; and when I *do* need to, add the long section so it fits my waist.

This bag has been in use for two years and is still going strong. No rips, tears, runs, stretches, threads coming out or anything at all. Still in great shape. I run it through the washer and let it air dry after I've spilled soda and fish attractant, and it cleans up very nicely. I've used it every day for the last two months for fishing, running errands, everything. Perfect amount of room and pouches and sits very comfortably!

Die Bauchtasche von Van Beeken ist bestens für meine Gassi-Runde geeignet. Sie bietet sehr viel Platz (sogar eine Flexi-Leine passt rein) und lässt sich super an den Taillenumfang anpassen. Auch ein kurzer Regenschauer macht ihr nichts aus, allerdings ist sie keinesfalls wasserdicht.
