Love these!! Use them for Parmesan cheese. Keeps it fresh and lasts longer.

Replaced my old shakers with these. Best choice I made! They hold more product, fit the hands comfortably, clear so you know how much is in each one, and the holes are so much better. Especially for the black pepper. Does not plug the holes up, and very easy to clean.

I use one for a sugar-cinnamon-nutmeg mixture, and one for a sea salt and dried herbs mixture that I make. The holes in the shaker side are big enough for a coarse salt or sugar. The other side is big enough for a measuring spoon up to teaspoon size.They're not airtight, so depending on the humidity, may not be suitable for contents that would absorb moisture or dry out. If you want to use at the table for grated cheese, you will probably need to transfer it to an airtight container for storage.The jars are good quality glass, the lids not quite as well made and don't fit as tightly as I would like, but a handy set to have. The 6-oz size is bigger than the typical "spice jar" size, holds plenty of the kinds of seasoning mixtures or topping sugars that you may reach for frequently. For the price, a good item.

These little shakers are really nice and i love the quality. I'm purchasing another set.

Lids do not close

These work just OK. My biggest complaint is that the tops don't stay shut and this allows moisture to get in. Luckily I live in the desert so this is not too big of a deal and what I use it (nutritional yeast) for does not stay in their long enough to go stale. But otherwise the quality is what you would expect.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and durability of these spice shakers. Thick glass container and a durable and good sealed lid.
