GREAT substitute for pricy concrete stain in the can!
A few years ago I bought 3 gallons of QuikCrete concrete stain in brown, terra cotta & wheat to dress up the ugly concrete around my pool. Worked nice & holds up to power washing but still needs a touch up every couple of years. And this year needed it badly but the stain was all used up- but I did NOT want to pay $50/gallon for more stain. So I took a chance and bought a couple of bottles of this powdered concrete stain- in yellow & terra cotta- even though I KNEW it was meant to be mixed into concrete -NOT mixed with water & painted on TOP of the concrete. I was pretty sure it wouldn’t work. And I was WRONG. The concrete section in the pic that went from no color to yellow is the powdered stain and everything around it was QuickCrete. And so far it is working way beyond my expectations. Of course it’s too early to tell but I can tell you this- do NOT get it on your skin, or on any surface that you can’t use nail polish remover on to get it off. It does NOT come off in the shower from normal scrubbing. FYI- the yellow in the pic was too bright so I toned it down with a little bit of heavily diluted terra cotta & iI’m very happy with it- I was going for the look of aged stone. Will update review next year to report on how it holds up- but so far I’m thrilled. I paid $9 a bottle instead of $50 gallon and I’m pretty sure the bottle will cover as much as the gallon- the pigment is very concentrated & it’s beautiful.

great economical pigment
for artists, painters, or construction projects where some color will bring some creativity, this simple blue pigment has a variety of uses. Very consistent powder granule size (very fine), and dissolves easily.I hope the come out with other colors in their pigment line. Very happy. Recommended.

Great terra cotta orange color
Love this in my concrete jewelry that I make for my Etsy shop! Picture showing back is true color, I added a little extra dye to the front. I don’t really measure but usually add a heaping plastic spoon worth of orange powder to a 10 ounce (I think) plastic cup of concrete and mix well before adding water. If you mix varying amounts and layer you can get nice gradients too!

Decent product
It's just repackaged bulk pigment. I used it for a grout job. This was enough for about half a bag of grout at home depot to get a decent hue of blue. I used the whole bottle. Mixed in well, looks alright. If you're doing a larger project, I'd look to buy in bulk. I thought the bottle would go further to be honest.
